The new easter 2024 event for Tower Heroes released with an egg hunt and well.. I don't like it and there are some issues I want to address. Music: @dieselfluids
I like the idea of a final boss after getting all eggs, imagine it being a combination of all the eggs and summons those egg minions which are themed to the eggs you collected: - Boss summons rock spikes out of the ground that explodes into lots of rock eggs that stun heroes - Boss picks up jester egg, uses it to summon some enemies and Starts punching it until it becomes Egg of close calls and lets it go on the path like an enemy - Boss grows cannons and shoots pb eggs at random heroes to stun them - Boss makes it rain tacos and they fall on heroes to stun them again - Boss uses Eggshroom to spawn strong mushroom enemies and uses Ghostly egg to spawn ghost enemies - Boss picks up power egg and stuffs it in the ground to spawn glitchware constantly - Boss uses lonely egg to fling some players - Boss uses Blooming egg to spawn Easter enemies - Boss swaps lots of hero positions (representing Body swap egg) - Coin egg spawns and acts like a mimic - Captured egg spawns and drops mana -Boss throws molly's - Boss launches enemy nukis (Egg of the sky is already a pain even without the boss) **When boss dies he drops the Hunters egg of champions giving you the ugc** EDIT: Heres my idea for a tower heroes Final boss. Prepare it might be a long one. so the boss is a mutant of every single boss mixed into one body. so you start in castle town and its not normal. there is insane final boss music and the sky is red with a blood moon. The mutant boss (lets call it 'The mutant' ) opens up its body and releases the king slime off of it. You just have to defeat king slime. Then the boss Screeches in pain and anger (pain since its lost the slime king part of its body) then the screech makes the map blur and the map changes to glowing glacier when it unblurs. The Glowing Glacier boss Is let out of the mutants body and while the towers are trying to kill the Glowing glacier boss, the Mutant is Chucking Glowing glacier enemies out of its body that make it harder. The screech happens again and that part repeats and you go to corporate chaos. the demolitionist boss is let out the mutants body and while towers try kill the demolitionist, mutant throws Corporate chaos enemies down. (To make it easier to read from now ill make bullet points) - Screech Happens when Demolitionist boss dies and you go to the next map - You get to volcano valley and mutant spawns fracture while throwing Volcano valley enemies down on the path (BTW all of the maps are corrupted looking and glitchy and red sky evil looking) This process continues with the maps and bosses until: - In canyon calamity the mutant breaks the path which stops summons from being in use Process of maps and bosses still continues until Frantic forest where you get an extra tower slot (and everyone on your team) In timeless tower the mutant spins the giant clock backwards that reverses time by a few seconds WHEN EVERY MAP IS DONE, Mutant would have lost every boss connected to its body because the towers killed them all, the mutant will dissolve revealing HILOH AND SMELLY. This final battle will take place in a map that is a combination of every map! Hiloh attacks heroes with Byte sword ugc and smelly is on a computer Downgrading heroes, deleting them, spawning enemies etc> FINAL BOSS IS COMPLETE AND YOU GET ALOT OF COINS AND a golden glowing username, a mutant morph that can do some stuff and maybe more! (Hope you like my idea and yes it is a hard boss,
One thing I dislike in this years egg hunt more than last years, is that the devs arent giving away the pixel egg. Last year, they were on (atleast the entire first day) but now, none are online and im gonna have to server hop for it.
Honestly i dont think the pixel egg should be a thing to begin with ,ONLY the devs have the morph and us commoners have to pay 2000 ROBUX to have the morph and consequently get the egg , i am not paying 300 bucks for an egg , i already have aroun 20 eggs, only need the nuki , tidal wave , swap and pixel eggs to complete the task .
Egg of the skies was the only good one despite being hellish in mobile, literally every other egg was either “do this in this map” or just pure RNG, not counting the lobby eggs which were super easy except for egg of the skies.
i agree ngl, hiloh promised us not to have as many rng based eggs this update but a bunch of them were like a 1% chance to get. the air balloon minigame was kind of hard at the start but is now pretty easy after they made it so you have double hearts and the spikes are slower. ive beaten it like 4 times (with only taking around 1-2 hearts) now and once with all balloons. i also agree it was way too easy. the event can completed in under 24 hours of grinding if you're smart and fast. the eggs don't take long AT ALL and the maps are easy if you've already beat them all before. the april fools map skins i didnt rlly like but at least i can get bunny i guess. edit: i also hate the fact they are repeats of old contracts. seems like every update we have to use soda pop or another tower to "defeat" something just to defeat it again as a stronger monster later.

Well yeah but I meant like a full story where we meet a character and they tell us we need to find eggs, as you get more eggs the deeper the story becomes and the harder the eggs get to get.

Why would they focus less on some of their biggest updates (player wise)? Does this mean the game will provide content that people can enjoy? As of right now Tower Heroes keeps around 1-4k Players daily which seems good at first but it's been around that for about 4 years now. The reason being is because the majority only come back when the game updates which is a bad thing. You want to keep a large majority of your player base daily which they can't do anymore. Hopefully (if the game does not end within the next year or two) they try to add more ways for players to enjoy the game rather than giving them a bunch of cosmetics to grind for and make them think they enjoy grinding cosmetics.
Not related to the egg hunt but related to th TH really needs some form of "end game" content, like a boss rush, endless, or some new mode/way to play The only mode that makes the game play different is Battle, and the only gimmick that truly switches the way you approach the map is raid, but the same towers will still be good or bad For me a bossrush akin to the bosses of btd6 would work best, or just any mode where the current meta aren't the main stars or where it plays very differently to the base game would be interesting
This is what chaos kingdom was, but obviously, it has been dethroned by some harder maps, I wish they could revamp it so that it actually feels like how they originally made it.
lowkey despite you being the smelliest man alive, this is facts i didnt really have a problem with the re-used quests but they're simplicity was really boring and offered no lil challenge, just mostly rng
I honestly loved this event, and i finished in one day. And honestly, the balloon pal game wasn't THAT bad, yes, it took for me 5 hours to beat it, which only means it was very hard but not bad. And if i counted correctly there was 6 luck based eggs this year. And as you said in the video: where are the exciting biss fights bro?! I wanted at least something that requires actual skill to beat. Plus on Easter egg land the musics are completely changed, i want them back! I dont even know why the developers had to change the musics of Easter Eggland. Like bro, you will hear slime king's theme at the boss fight on every difficulty, like bro WTF. And my another problem is that we didn't even got any special skins from any of the eggs. I was really sad, but hey, hopefully in the part 2 they will give a few us skins.
I always loved the egg hunts, I never tend to look at their flaws because then I just get extremely sick of it, overall I do agree with everything you have stated in the video though.
the egg hunts like this award skins in future updates for some of the eggs you have, for now it's only the badges and ugcs but in a future update only some of the eggs will give skins
Despite my sheer hatred, i have to admit they gave us alot of content. I actually really liked the bp minigame, it felt like a mini flappy bird, i was dissapointed when taco egg needed the spec gamepass but i fortunately had it. Disaster hotel was a nice touch and i made some new friends, the concepts of the eggs were lackluster but i could tell the figure egg had some genuine thought process behind it. While yes, the update is bad, but we have to give credit where its due. Peace out!
Now that i think about it the part 2 could just be the skins u get from the eggs, wich is good ig, but it would be better if they added some more interesting things
Addendum, It also feels way easier to complete than last years Egg Hunt. They gave us an entire month and a half to complete the event but currently, you'll be done in a day or two. Then what?
what the devs couldve done was slightly nerf and change the body swap eggs health down because battle mode for some reason barely gives you any mana at all. and people either refuse to help or they leave the game. i have gotten granted SO MANY chances from the body swap egg and my heroes arent helpful enough. maybe its because i have a useless deck or i dont have yasuke equipped. so i think they shouldve nerfed the egg so that it should be easier to obtain the egg.
to be honest they could of made a egg egg like the currency egg, you need to use the actual egg currency to buy the egg egg, similar to coin egg but at least a bit more different.
When they had battle pass events, I didnt like them. But when they changed it to hunts is got boring fast. 4 hunt-styled events back to back is pretty annoying. I didn't even bother doing the christmas one.
i almost did the easter one but i struggled so bad as a lot of them were rng based, i dont like the 1/100 of spawning on a specific map eggs/contracts at all
1. Most of the eggs are rng 2. Some are just plain p2w 3. Rage inducing 4. What have I done to deserve this hell 5. Apparently you have to kill 101 ghosts for the ghostly egg
I want to start this comment off by saying that I wish you had gone more in depth with which eggs you liked and why. You can't just skim over the fact that there were some really eggs that were fun to get. Egg of the Sky and Figure egg were really fun to get, and a lot of the objectives were really fun. The rock egg, while being easy, had a very creative method of getting it. You also bring up Poltergeist egg, which is one of the most difficult to figure out how to get without any outside help. Despite this, the egg is really easy to get with outside help as all you need to do is place down a few heroes in a specific order. You state that it has a fun gimmick but all it was placing towers in different places. This isn't to say that it was a bad objective, but the fact that you say you enjoyed it for its identity confuses me because a lot of the eggs in this update were extremely similar to it in the fact that you complete an objective and get the egg immediately. As for selling and replacing the same tower over and over again, I have no idea which egg you are talking about. That description describes none of the eggs in this event. While some eggs have similar objectives to previous ones, I still found them fun and feel as if you were too harsh when judging them. I don't think there were any things similar to the slime king egg, the Nuki egg, the noob inside egg or the Molly egg. Even so, they still had fun gimmicks, even if they weren't completely original. Another point you brought up is that the event is too short. This is because in this event, there are less rng eggs. You say you want more time to enjoy the event but the only filler that was in the other ones was rng which is arguably the most painful part of these hunts. Contracts like the pixies just left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't want to spend hours finding rng enemies after completing all of the other objectives. Yes, there were some easy eggs to get, but that is only if you have outside help in doing so. The objectives were creative and fun. I'm glad that you came around on the egg of the sky as I felt that that was one of the most fun ones, even if it was difficult. I do think the idea of shaking things up and adding a story and a boss fight would be fun, but if they do that, we'll end up back the way we were last year, only getting events and a non-event map here and there. Sorry for the long comment, but I don't think this event was as bad as everyone thinks it is. There were creative objectives and while it wasn't as much as the Halloween and Christmas, where we got special bosses, I don't think it needed to be that. I think this event was miles above last years. There were way less rng based eggs and I didn't feel there was an egg that I dreaded getting. Of course, your experience may have been different, but I feel very strongly about the quality of this event, and it makes me frustrated when people brush it off as a bad one.
Well I like the event and yes it does suck for it that to get some eggs you need to pay but you don't have to, pixel bit egg just like last year it's easier and free just to locate a player with the launcher and if you can ask them to shoot the eggs since 2 come out, it's even easier to ask the person with the launcher if just the 2 of you start a game and let him/her shoot the eggs collect it and leave it finish the map, the taco egg is supposedly doable on idle encore without paying anything. But if that isn't the case then find someone who has the game pass for spectre and ask them to play the taco song. My son has the pass so we can get it easily, now the balloon pal game.. you do not have to collect all balloons and as you progress you will extra lives in shape of hearts you want to get them . There's one kinda hidden if you go left from the start..
Look at me, I'm a bit of a noob player, it's been a struggle to get these eggs and they're really annoying and stressful to get because some of them require a higher level and some eggs are very RNG (I hate RNG) so they kind of There aren't many easy eggs in this event. I don't know whether to keep trying or give up.

Egg of the sky isn't even original. We had art minigames like the Lil Chip one before. Edit: Lonely egg is based off friendship egg, so not that original. Post-Edit-Edit: I made a list of some of the special things here. -Power egg, boss would spawn after the last wave. This boss moves fast, cannot be stunned, and has 50k hp. He must follow fences, though. -Blooming egg, boss would spawn immediately after blooming the egg, boss would be an amalgamation of blooms, and every time it would die, a bloom dies. This boss would have 10k hp per bloom, and would have 5 blooms. - Slime king egg, would spawn a 7k HP boss after final wave that can only be killed using the slime king ability. - Eggboi sugar egg, you would have to complete a map with special enemies after someone shoots out the egg, and it would be a Christmas map. - Pixel egg would be a new map filled with all of the past creations like Survive The Wave. - Molly egg would spawn after completing an obby that only spawns after beating metaverse madness. - Noob inside an egg would be obtained by completing a retro map with only retro skins, like path giver. - Jester egg would be obtained by maxing a jester on chaos kingdom. Then, the boss from the bronze chaos crown would spawn. This boss is VERY slow and only has 10k hp. This boss can only be hurt by effects and summons. - Nuki egg would spawn after the maximum amount of Nukis have been reached in a match (6 players, all using Nuki, all max, all Nukis have spawned) - Body swap egg would be obtained after putting a hero into a portal in Easter Eggland, then you would have to fight a boss after it that is half red and blue, like a Nintendo switch. - Chef egg would be obtained after finding a pan in the lobby, then going through a bakery map where you can only use chef. - Captured egg would be a boss that would spawn after reaching 100,000 mana. This boss will not deal damage, as it would get annoying later on after people got it. The boss would have about 5k HP, though. It would downgrade towers, like bleak barrens. - Tidal egg would be obtained after beating Tidal Takedown (or whatever its called) using the modifier that makes your tower placement limited - Ghostly egg would make you catch 10 ghosts that spawn around the map in Frantic Forest. These spawn every few waves, and you have to be fast to catch them. You also have to collect a gear that is near the campfire. - Eggshroom would spawn when you kill a shroom using only maitake. This boss is immune to poison and has around 10k hp. Those are all of the ones that you said were incorrect! Before I go to bed, (it's 3:00am for me right now) here's an extra! Extra: When you collect all 66 balloons, you get a golden egg of sky.
This event is worse than last year bc now have more rng and impossible as heck bp minigame. AND SOME OF THEM REQUIRES EXPENSIVE GAMEPASSES LIKE HELL NAW
Ik that egg hunt didn't have a lot of content but i understand how smelly felt like dude he is the only scripter my guy works 24/7 hiloh also does but not as much as smelly this guy is always on studio so I do understand why did they have to repeat some from last years because of time
Other issues are than the third part of the eggs are RNG (nuki, captured, body swap, Shroom, Jester, Tidal and pixel bit being F2P). And uhhhh, taco egg Is almost impossible being F2P, that's THE WORST EGG EXISTING. Whyyyyyy did hilloh add Big P2W stuff??????? Plus, pixel egg is very hard being F2P
The only egg I hated the most and the most difficult one is egg of the sky egg and I tried to get it today but I couldn’t because do I have to give a reason for that? Only thing that will be good is if they replace the egg with something else (they will never do tho) and prob make it a bit easy or a bit hard and fun to get So yea
I argree, tower heroes hasnt been really making any more good event lately. The only good thing they added in the easter update was the april fools map.
I doubt it will even last another 2 years simply because it's already been out for like 4 years and it just seems like the quality gets worse and worse. Of course their models/designs are amazing, nobody can deny. That's not the type of quality I'm talking about though. Their updates recently (as in this year) have seemed like quantity over quality. Many things are not really tested, they just throw out a bunch of cosmetics and they are also going away from the Tower Heroes style with some of their more recently added maps. Maps that look like something from a new game. Similar to what I said about the models, they are NOT bad maps. They are just not within the Tower Heroes style. Not to mention their newest hero/tower Nuki is just a watered down version of Stella. It's nothing original and is just boring. Also they have been giving away many UGCS recently just to get players in the game. A bunch of kids will see "FREE UGC" on the title and instantly swarm it. Sure it can be seen as a way of giving back to the community but I would rather them make genuinely good updates that add new things to the game which will just make people enjoy the game more. UGCS at least to me seem like a way to get players easily within your game. This is not me hating on the game. I played Tower Heroes from 2020-2022 and still play it here and there every few months. I want the game to do better but it's just not happening. Sure you can say that I just don't enjoy the game anymore because I was younger at the time and enjoyed it then and eventually I got bored of it. I don't think that's the reason. I'm confident that their updates have just gotten too repetitive. Once I realized that cosmetics mean nothing in terms of gameplay, I stopped caring about them, then I started to dislike the game. I enjoyed the game back then because it was fresh, new and actually good. It's still the same game except they have added many more cosmetics which varies in ways to get them, some taking forever. This is not good for the games health, everyone will eventually realize that their cosmetics that they get don't do anything for you or the game. I hope they start adding new gameplay mechanics. (Like the doors update. The Void in adventure mode was actually fun and different).
@@l3ryce2877 I started playing tower heroes when it first came out (on a old account because back then I was stupid and fell for a free Robux scam and lost the account with tester skin) and it was really fun back then but with every new update it just started to get worse and more low quality, the game became harder to the point it's almost impossible and it's really not worth your time anymore. I wish they would actually learn from their past mistakes but they haven't. Almost every hero now is just a combination of 2 heroes. Soda pop is branch plus voca (long range and splash damage), nuki is quinn plus stella (long range and spawn ability), and many more. Tower heroes is just starting to fall second after second and the owners think that a little useless update is gonna fix it which isn't true, they basically rush events and updates without testing anything and just call it a brand new update.
I agree that this event was wayyy too easy, like im usually someone that takes a while to finish events but, this hunt i was the 165th person to beat it so
I haven’t even watched the video in full but the balloon game is fine… hard, yes, but I’d compare it to steep steps from the hunt. Hard, but not *bad*. It’s nice and cute, and one of the better articulated against the bunch of RNG ones and the fact Pixel Egg’s egg giver gamepass is 2k robux and stuff… there are a lot of flaws with the event, but IMO, Balloon Game doesn’t live up to it’s infamy. It rewards skill, even when it’s simple enough to find out how to play, you still need to well, play! Lol
The air balloon mini game is NOT FAIR for mobile and we have a right to complain about it. They should fix it/nerf it or give mobile players the egg because of how bad the controls are.
ikr.. I play mobile and for mobile we barely had any space to move because sometimes it would send me to a hero on my team or send me to buy coins if I move my joystick too far ending up making me lose a balloon.
The egg I won’t even attempt to get is Egg in the sky cause the minigame is like really buggy, and I can barely get past spike rings, cause I’m on mobile, so I ain’t playing until the game is nerfed. (Edit: I found out it was nerfed and got the egg
I beat it in mobile too but it would have been easy if there was a exit button in the corner to exit the minigame instead of exiting whenever you touch the minigame screen the slightest, the reason I messed up in the minigame was almost always because I accidentally exited the minigame
yall crying about the balloon pal egg 😭. I will agree I had some frustration with it but at least it was something satisfying to beat. now im currently using my "corporate chaos afk" loadout (kart kid, slime king, oddport, spectre, balloon pal if you want it lol), and this is just boring and sleepy as hell (for captured egg)
I give up getting ugc cuz some game made p2w to stay more people in game they make profit but people f2p are annoying u gotta wait long very long beg for egg pixel i just tired giving up getting ugc but important they shouldn’t add find egg to get ugc they should just f2p player unfair yeah giving up im quit gettting ugc Good luck :)
