My brother, first we don't use a small g for God so I don't which god you are talking about we have so many gods but one God our creator.In Bible times rulers of nations which were then Kingdoms where ruled by kings( head of state or presidents today). Remember all rulers on are appointed by God for his purpose for a particular assignment in any nation.
@@chileshemusonda1362 Kings were not appointed by God but by gods, by inheritance( ancestral law). A king took to the throne after the death of a sitting king who was called a god. The new king was a prophet and the dead father the god! Show me one example in the bible of a god that was God! I gave you Luke 3:38 and now avail John 10:34, Jesus was a god not God John 10: 31, 32 & 33 The second thing worth noting is that prophets dont pray or intercede but just prophesy! Would you really pray against your prophecy after going public?

Those who prophesy against their own countries are altars of foreign shrines or foreign prophets like TB Joshua or some other.
