Labour MPs are about as popular as a dose of clap at the moment, people are starting to despise them. She got the reception she deserved after Labour's shoddy treatment of the British people, especially our vulnerable old folks.

Correction: They were never for the working classes. Labour are socialists and always have been. Crack an economic book sometime, preferably of the non-Keynesian variety, and a whole lot of British history opens up before you in a whole new light. Socialists have been taking the proverbial for hundreds of years, propagandizing and gaslighting successive generations that more of the same failing socialism will somehow fix the very ruin caused by socialism.

Do you know how rarely a woman faces actual consequences? Or a sheltered leftist? Or an elitist? Now add them all together and I guarantee you she has NEVER faced the consequences of her actions before in her life, and she will have left that pub feeling threatened and "othered" and will tell anyone who will listen about how she was almost ATTACKED by a mob of far right racists. She will 100% justify this to herself along those lines, because the only other option is to accept reality and course correct - something that sort of person will NEVER DO.
I have had conversations with people who voted labour and they all say the same thing 14 years of tory misrule which yes they have a point, but 14 years of tory misrule will be a walk in the park compared to 5 years under Labour. The son of a friend of mine said that 5 years under Labour might be a good thing, because that might actually wake them up about what the Labour party is all about.
