'I Don't Think We're Ready For This!': Schweikert Issues Dire Warning About Major Threat To The West

Sadly, most of the people who should be listening to this man are not capable of grasping the truth of what he is saying.

Run for President. Our country needs a smart man like you.

I work in marketing and I loathe social media for all the reasons he's speaking about. This is so accurate and people need to wake up!

This sounds like a guy who actually puts the work into being a representative, someone who actually cares about what the position means and what it's supposed to do. Good on him, thank you for that.

You would think our government officials would be in this meeting if they're working so hard on a budget. Wouldn't they need to know this information? Yes!

This makes me so MAD. That fact that there are intelligent people in congress like David Schweikert, but they get shut down and ignored by the idiots that should not be there in the first place.

Why can’t we have this guy as president? I don’t even care what side of the isle he is on, he actually cares and it isn’t about his ego and he won’t fall asleep while he is talking.

This was a delight to listen to. Very educational and structured. This showed me what an actual politician is supposed to sound like. Well reasoned.

As an American, I want to give my sincere appreciation to Representative Schweikert. for his responsible effort to restore sanity to federal expenditures. He is visibly exasperated with the direction this federal bureaucracy is going, and how it puts this whole country in danger of collapse.

When I was a kid, we went in recess to play around. Says a lot about our congress when amazing statements like this are greeted to an empty room. Everyone can smell what's blowing downwind, but so many of us have become so cynical that things can't improve or change. Thank you Rep. Schweikert for saying what needed to be said for the sake of this country, and I'm so sorry your peers and the rest in power refuse to help your just cause. I hope America can find its way through this crisis of truth unscathed.

I love seeing and hearing common sense and morality. That’s not common these days. I’m with Schweickert!

I feel it every single day. I am a very frugal man. What the government is not working for the majority of the people in America. But we have enough intelligent people to at least fight. We the people have to fight. I’m just a guy that wants to feed my family and neighbors, no violence. We look for our Government to do the same.

Start thinking it’s our money, not theirs

It should be mandatory in every school to teach informational hygiene, statistics, logic, critical thinking, the art of civilized debating of difficult topics, basics of economy and budgeting. All in one class basically over several years. Starting in middle school, ending in high school.

We are here listening! Not a bot. I have watched many of your economics/debt explanation speeches. I see you aren't there just to address Congress, nor are you there just for your constituents, you are there to address and explain to all voters in the US what kind of situation we really are in. Thank you for the time commitment you put in to this! It's great if your colleagues are there to listen, but without citizens listening and speaking up, our representatives will only do what THEY feel is in our interests, rather than what WE ask them to do. That's how this thing is SUPPOSED to work.

Schweikert ALWAYS rocks. He's probably the most realistic man in congress. He explains finance and daily issues in a way anyone can understand, except for almost ALL local, state and federal politicians we keep electing. Watch all of his presentations and you will learn what is TRULY important to America.

So he's saying healthcare costs are our biggest problem. Ask yourself, WHY are we not questioning the prices of healthcare!? WHY don't we create ways to stop healthcare from being such a massive profit engine for corporations and start making our budget work? Is it because Congress is paid by those same healthcare companies to NEVER QUESTION how much they are charge for their services...!?!?!?! Now ask yourself how much those same healthcare things cost in other countries. You'll find they cost far far far less, because other governments aren't corrupted by donations from private healthcare corporations.

About the 34 TRILLION dollar national debt. This real reason for the open borders is: FACT: The United States Government is addicted to borrowing money. Fact: The United States is allowed to borrow as much money as it WANTS, so long as it can maintain a large enough (Taxable Population) in the future to make payments on the (interest) associated with that future borrowing. FACT: Educated Americans weren't having babies fast enough to ensure that the United States would have a large enough (Taxable Population)in the future to make those payments. FACT: Educated Americans were only having babies at a rate of 1.7 babies per household. No society can survive that without collapse. FACT: The influx of migrants from over the borders are coming from places where they tend to have babies at a rate of 5.5 babies per household. Therefore, the powers that be evidently decided to open the borders wide and allow millions of UNEDUCATED baby makers into the Country in order to ensure that there will be payments made on future borrowing. 8 million people over the borders today can easily translate into over 30 million more taxpayers in less than 4 generations. These are the facts regardless of whether the current political rhetoric says so or not. The reason there are people from the other side of the world living in your back yard is because your government refuses to stop borrowing money. Why aren't there any talking heads making mention of this? Go ask any economist what the word, "Demographics," means.

This economic problem did not just pop up due to Mr. Biden becoming president. Nor did it arise with Mr. Trump. It began a long time ago. Has escalated each year and now has become critical to the point where honesty must kick in and hard decisions must start being made, regardless of Democrat or Republican personal views. And this will not be an overnight fix - only a beginning. Generations will be required to see a leveling of income to outgo. Think of your own personal budget and how you handle shortfalls. This is govt spending on steroids.
