Every year Raiders get dismissed as bad. All the "experts" forgot how great our defense was when AP took over last year & now we got Christian Wilkins. Quotes from the haha experts: "They're going to win 6.5 games." "They're #24 on the list." "They don't have a qb." Last year was a harsh year for Raider players & fans. We're in a much better position, more stable & there's much more hope & enthusiasm. Hoping AOC balls out & our dline squishes our opponents. I always say "We'll see." So much more excited this year than last year.

Defense wasn't great at all literally all garbage time stats. Against losing teams other than the queefs. Example, the chargers had 13 starters out and a 4th string qb in...they didn't even play because they wanted their trash hc and gm to be fired. Raiders hired fired trash in telesco who won nothing with the chargers. This is a 6-11 roster

We have a new OC. Different playbook than Mc Dummies. We will give AOC the tools he needs and he will definitely ball out because now he has a whole NFL tier off season to get physically better and technically sound passing. Also he gets to build chemistry with the Offense. I know for sure he was put in the QB position without preparation and no experience. He can only get better. We gotta do with what we got.

Are you about AOD as the Qb against this year. If someone teaches him to not stayed in the pocket too long then he can be fair qb if not they will keep sacking him all year long. That's the problem he last year staying in the pocket to long n fumbling n getting sacks over throwing is one of his flaws. AP has his mind made up on AOD then why bring on another Qb. AP will fail this year again with AOD being Qb we won't be in playoffs if we do go we won't make 1st round we well lose in the playoffs back to couches for every raiders fans. Might as will bring in Tom Brady I rather him then second year Qb he's not ready yet.

I was listening to the Carton show on Fox sports radio the day after the draft. IDK who it was but he said we missed in the 1st rounder because they needed a pass rusher. Apparently he didn’t watch what Koonce & Madd Maxx did last season. I thought we had a solid draft. Best in yrs to be honest.

The NFL is no fan of the RAIDERS. I don’t expect any positive spin on anything done in RAIDERSSLAND by NFL execs. The only thing that can be done to (temporarily) shut those types of people up is WINNING GAMES. AP, MD, TT and players are doing what they can to make that happen.

I honestly feel like the raiders drafted 2 top 10 overall players. I love Philly's draft also. I would have liked Milton or rattler in a later round trade some next year just to keep pushing/ never know philosophy.. All kinds of guys who can pick up a first down a qbs s best friend. We might have 2 #2 qbs its a long season. I'd like to see us maximize the new facilities and get some f.a. talent, which there is plenty.

I agree 100% on how this draft worked out for LVR. I think A04 & Minshew are underrated when it comes to being a "serviceable starter" while the Raiders stack talent in all other areas. I especially agree on Laube! The guy reminds me of Ekeler, and yes, CMC to a point. We shall see but I like how the AP & Telesco regime has started out!

I'm thinking 10 wins, maybe 11. I feel great about having Pierce on the sideline. His leadership will help stabilize what has been a chaotic team the last few years. He'll be to the Raiders what Mike Tomlin has been to the Steelers, who gets wins regardless of talent. Attracting big name coaches is overrated IMO. The only two Raider coaches who won SuperBowls were both unknowns. One of them is the winningest NFL coach in the modern era, winning over 70% of his games - that being John Madden, who never had a losing season.

people just don’t know.. Bowers is perfect fit for West Coast offense style that Getsy will bring. He’s so valuable to this system, that they passed on a potential starting RT.. Keep in mind. West coast Offensive Line only needs 2-3 seconds to hold up against Defensive Line So Bowers is more valuable than an offensive line man. We need offense to be explosive and get open. Bowers is the game changing pick and imo number 3 on the Raiders big board. 1. Daniels 2. Penix 3. Bowers

We could have drafted Jayden and the press would still critique the move. As a fan since 1974 you get used to not getting your flowers from the press. It kills commentators to say anything positive about the Raiders. We could hold up the Lombardi and the press would say it was a fluke season. 11-6 Minshew is going to ball out. He had the highest passer rating in the nfl in two tight end, 12 personnel sets. The pairing of Michael Mayer and Bowers is going to be fun

Will I agree with u. Listening to these fools (As a Raider fan) I get tired of having to have a Hof at every position (even punter)or they will list us as rebuilding. We have a top 5 defense and the offensive weapons are scary, especially in the red zone now. A good offense will beat a good defense

i think we will have the best defense line in the league and secondary just got a lot of depth in this draft. I think we generate a lot of turnovers win alot of close games, and come out around 11 wins hopefully sweeping the broncos and splitting games with the chargers snd chiefs.

Nobody is talking about Minshew, but i truly believe he deserves a starting role in the NFL. He has the athletic ability to extend plays, he's more accurate than AOC, and he has more experience while still being in his peak physical years. 10 or 11 wins is what I'm putting down barring any major injuries

People are sleeping on Aiden and forgetting about Tyree Wilson. Would it have been nice to draft Fuaga and solidfy the right tackle spot? Yes, but Bowers creates so much offensively, he was CLEARLY BPA at 13...so I'm fine with it. APJ in the 2nd, I'm a little soft on Glaze, but hey, it's the 3rd Round....Raiders will manage. Trey Taylor is going to start a few games this year, just watch.

Good draft overall, but still no serious QB. "Perfectly fine" just doesn't cut it these days. Especially not in a division with Mahomes, Herbert and a pretty good rookie coming in. I predict yet another season with just enough wins to NOT get a top ten draft pick.

Every time you pick for need rather than best player a available you set your team back 4 to 5 years depending on what round you drafted. You downgrade for need and avoid superstars then you will always be average. The more superstars you have the more they can pick up the slack and hide the fact you have plug and play guys in certain spots. If all you have mediocre players then you will always be mediocre or bad.

The Chiefs are scared, as the Raiders were the only team to give them problems last season. Them boys were hungry even in the final game last season, ending at 8 - 9? Crosby went into full dawg mode as Super Bowl 53 ended in their home turf with Mahomes making that pass. The Chiefs are washed. This Raiders team will end 11 - 6. Raiders may win the division and Chiefs get in as a wild card. Either way, The autumn wind is coming.

His stock didn't fall, just too many clubs simped for QBs. Penix won't last, think Jimmy G. with 0 NFL experience. As for an owner not liking the pick, get over your prissy self. Worst case scenario is you've just improved your draft position. Who knows, maybe Getsy wants a dual TE situation or keep both and swap them out to change the look and keep the opponents DC guessing. What's bad about that? Win prediction for the 2024 season? Conservatively, 9-8.However, JPJ could be a huge difference maker, along with DJ and Richardson. Probably not so much with the last one, but he may be a dawg by 2026, time will tell. RN4L

Such bullshit. Bowers was a GREAT pick. One who the f would they have taken? Which top talent QB was left? Rattler? No f’n way. Atlanta should be getting dogged for such a poor pick. I like Penix and would have been excited if he would have fallen to us BUT that did not happen. You are full of shit if you would not take a Kielce or Kittle typer player. Thayer is good but he is not. Kittle type player. Bowers appears to be. If both go off, then you have trade capital for the future. Although me would love some Travis Hunter for next year.
