The teams England had to play, are the most difficult. They defend for 90 minutes, hoping they can snatch a goal. It's not England's fault for doing the same thing, when playing against teams like that. Then there's the added pressure of expectation to beat those kinds of negative teams 3 or 4 nil every time out. England have done just as good of a job as Spain to reach the final. You can only beat the team you play. We saw in the first half against the Dutch, England are the most gifted and dangerous team in Europe, if not the world. Spain has played very well too. Although on paper it looks like they've beaten the better teams, that's not really the case. Italy are terrible, Germany don't have much in the way of talent, it's just their past history and home advantage. France too, aren't the team they once were. There's a reason, the Spanish players have nothing but respect for England and vice versa. The best two teams are in the final, no matter what the blinkered pundits or clueless armchair managers say.
