Does it say that in their Japanese bios? Koei Tecmo's western distribution divisions could have easily just bumped up the ages of the characters to avoid controversy outside of the game's country of origin.

As much as everyone's talking about the legality of the character, I'm just depressed at how broken up the story-mode is. Like, brief cutscene, followed by short fight, followed by brief cutscene, followed by back to main menu. It's the exact same way the non main-story characters from Tekken 7 were handled, except they're passing this off for their main storymode.

The story is so disjointed and all over the place its actually hilarious how confusing it is just watching Max choose a chapter. Then the dude at the end with the pervy orgasm lololz. It wouldnt be this entertaining and funny if the story wasnt trying to take itself so seriously lol.
Yup, some people just look young for their age. I'm 30 and still get mistaken for a teenager sometimes. I've seen legal 18 year old girls in fully legal porn that looked young for their age and petite. It shouldn't be "oh, you look young for your age, even though you're legally an adult, you are not allowed to have sex with anyone the rest of your life until you turn into a grandma and it's obvious you're clearly older" which is basically how I see a lot of people acting, whether they realize it or not, and presenting that as if it's somehow reasonable. That's just as bullshit as anything else. No one is advocating actual fucked up practices to real life minors. It just gets me a bit because I always looked young for my age too. I remember being 15, going out to eat at restaurants, and my parents still being asked if we needed 12 and under kids' menus... not a great feeling, lol. And then if you say any of this, people just instantly and cynically assume the worst about you... sigh.
I don't see the point of you guys getting offended. Some people just feel uncomfortable around sexualized people who don't look legal, that's normal and shouldn't be shamed either. If its not real life then its all the more reason to feel however you want without people raising their pitchforks.
I live in Japan and many of my co-workers are older than me, but they look very petite. Therefore, they have smaller proportions. People in the West need to open their eyes and realize people look really different in other parts of the world. Legal lolis are literally everywhere.

Fun fact : DOA 6 doesn't have any trophies or achievements for the story mode. They only give you titles and encyclopedia entries. They don't even give you coins or clothing parts for Finnishing it.
Frankly speaking, my biggest gripe with the story mode (besides it being written by chimps, obviously) is that it feels like DoA 5.5 rather than its own thing. Team Ninja was like: "Well, we made a bunch of new characters for the previous game as dlc... Okay, one new character, a clone, two boss rehashes and a Mokujin. Now let's center a story around them"

Jordan Brown Is there a right way to play through this game's story? You can see him intentionally avoiding any of the chapters with Honoka & marie rose, which by doing that I feel like he's missing pieces of the story (Like why're they hanging out to begin with when Helena said to keep a look out on her for example).

I'm surprised they haven't made a Dead or Alive 1 ~ 4 Collection for PS4. On a related note, they haven't done Ninja Gaiden HD Collection for PS4 either. Weird. Hopefully DOA6 has Japanese voices? The English dub is very average and the lip sync of noticeably off.

The dialogue is so cringe in English. Somehow Japanese with English subtitles makes it easier to take. Maybe because I don't speak Japanese my brain has to compensate and go purely my the script I'm reading.
At the very least you have these characters included in the story rather than just being additional characters with no story whatsoever. Also "She's like rogue, but dumber" doesn't rogue have to physically touch you? ',:| Honoka just mimics by sight.
Max has never been good at streaming himself immersively going through story modes and lore (just my opinion through my own years experience watching him in general, not an absolute rule or zero-exceptions fact, just for the record.) He's someone you watch for the laughs and the jokes. He'll skip cutscenes, interrupt pivotal story moments with loud commentary and jokes, etc. Not knocking him, just saying you go to him to laugh and hear him act goofy/make jokes while streaming, or to watch him lab in training modes of fighting games between matches. If you want immersive full story/lore coverage, there are only places where people don't talk as much or as loudly, and never skip cutscenes, lol ;)
@@DeathBringer769 I do realize that, but I am a big DOA fan and even with this games lacking story, just going straight down the main story line and then doing everyone else will just make all the more confusing. Especially as TN needs to add in some connections to make a lot of it not feel like a waste.
