@NCJeanGenie oh dear, that comment went over your head. 🤦♀️ It was such a cute comment. Think about it. The name of the song is "I Don't Want to Know". So, when some type the name of the song in search and then add in Josh's name....get it?😊
I've said this for more than a decade, you are one of the best producers. You find the best talent, pick the best songs, and arrange it all perfectly. I'm always impressed with your command of all the technical stuff as well.
@@anj000 The tools available now are unbelievable. What he does used to mean a studio and at that time there were only a handful of engineers who could do this. Now he does this great production in his living room and has all of the equipment for the production. I was around in the 60s and this was very hard to do. It is a great time for music.
This. Old audio engineer & musician here. He’s got tech chops and a great ear for a mix that moves around and he has a subtle boost thing for highlighting little things.
What a great blending of voices. This is a song that was made to be sung by a combo. of male and females voices. Katie and Josh knocked this one out of the park.
Adding to the never ending commune of great musicians Josh encounters along the way. Always a delight to hear collaborations with talented young and aspiring musicians.
More a surgical replication than a mere cover of the song. This is just another typical miracle from Josh. And him and Katie were soooooo perfect together! SOOOOOO PERFECT!
I actually asked him this in an interview a few years ago. He said he finds most of his collabs on Instagram. The vast majority of them (except Carson, who he grew up with in NC) are actually in the NYC music scene.
It's nice to see talented young people having a laugh and enjoying themselves. Add a 12-string to the mix and it's unbeatable. We all know that Josh is a huge talent but it was good to meet Katie who I didn't know previously. I will watch out for her. Great performance, harmonies and guitars.
she's fun and I love the chemistry (and obvious abundant talent...I mean...hello). Love her sound and the fact that she reminds me of young Shelley Devall
Josh Turner carrying on the tradition of fine rock and roll right into the 21st century. Missed him live/small venue in CALIFORNIA on July 4, 2019; show canceled last minute. I’ll always regret it.
This is absolutely brilliant! Well done! Katie's chug is perfect and a solo in a live recording on 12 string capo'ed guitar is crazy ballsy. Well done! Also Bravo for fighting through the laughs.
Every now and again this hard listening jazz fusion and classical fan, just wants to enjoy some beautiful straight forward singing and playing. And this is where I come for it.
Y'all just put the biggest smile on my face. I'm mostly a metalhead. But growing up listening to Fleetwood Mac brings back fond memories of when this album was released. My favorite track off of Rumors you 2 did a beautiful rendition of a great song. Beautiful. Thank you
Fantastic as I've come to expect!! These guitar covers just make me smile. My daughter led me to you and your music a couple years ago, first these covers and then your original stuff. We were at The Bygones performance at Woodward Theatre in Cincinnati last month. We enjoyed it a ton.
Hands down, this is your best duet and I'm not even half way through the song. You two should make this a thing. I mean, you know, stay together and keep doing it. EDIT: Saw her on the Tonight Show and that was very nice stage presence.
Nice equipment. Nice instruments. In the hands of talented performers. A seventies classic I well remember when it broke on the radio. Thanks for keeping it alive!
Josh, you killed this one. What a treasure Katie is. This is better than the origional. Your fills on that 12 string blow Lindsey right out of the water. I have a new favorite female singer. Whoever wins that woman's heart will be so blessed!
Man, 2 weeks ago you put out a wonderful version of Strawberry Fields, now this! Two of my favorite songs that you have managed to make your own even though your recordings are always very true to the original. I have been a fan for about 4 years now. I think you are my favorite RU-vidr. Love your stuff!
These two are unbelievable. They are so good. The harmony is amazing. They sound just as good if not better than Fleetwood Mac in my opinion.. also the way he plays the guitar with the lead is beyond amazing.
I am amazed how Josh manages to do everything, tour, make great covers, better than the original. Great work and collaboration. And Katie is adorable 🥳🥳🥳
