@@paulelago9453 It's not even that he studied Spence. Spence only got in the ring with cones. He never fought anybody with elite skills. When Bud and Spence met 5 years ago Bob Arum told Spence to his face to stay away from Bud for a reason. Not cause he was biased but cause he and Bud knew it was a complete miss match 💯. Too flat footed, no head movement, leaning in on jabs. He tried to bully and pressure Bud like he does all his opponents but nobody knew how strong Bud really was. Once Spence realizes he couldn't pressure Bud cause he's strong and fights on the back foot Spence's whole game plan was out the window 💯.
I luv it- I always been a Bud fan, but I love Errol too… I really respect his grit and his heart. Fundora a good fighter- he said strap season. Big Fish n I’m rootin 4 em.
Facts. Fundora is not the most talented or skilled guy but he is a young huge grinder with tenacity, a chin and heart. He is the type of fighter that a older fighter that been through it should avoid for a comeback fight. Sebastian may never be as highly regarded as Spence but styles make fights and Fundora is gonna be a nightmare for Errol. Fundora brings the ruckus.
Tim tyszu would’ve stoped fundora if he knew how to work the body which Spence does to a t. All fundora did to tyzu was jab all night no power shots. ERoll will walk him down and stop him in 5 rounds. He’s not gonna head hunt like Tim did.

Fundora is a punching bag. Doesnt have the speed to compete at 154 yet has somehow imposed his size vs the right opponents. Not to mention a very fortunate cut early on in the Tim Tszyu fight.
I think people picture an inside fight but Errol had no answers for a Southpaw jab. If Fundora's team is smart keeping Spence on the outside should be their priority.

@@Michael_Page true but Spence was also at 147 for A long time taking no tune ups and fighting nothing but champions.Bud wanted no parts of A healthy and bigger Spence.Spence been saying he was done at 47 before the bud fight.If he healthy with no issues and got the right training and coach I think he will improve and could win.Its gone be tough but I believe in him cause he really A dog.He could’ve taken A tune up and still refuse too
I wish the best for Errol, I am a Crawford fan but he won me over. Between his heart and his attitude I like the guy. Fundora has shown he can be hurt and hopefully Errol not being drained give him more pop on his punches.
I don't think so he had tuff fights after the accident. The Crawford was one in a million. We seen Errol look as bad as he ever was and Crawford show power we never seen him have before. I know one thing about boxing you can see a fighter decline in one fight. Some you never see unless it's something else at play like Canelo. Canelo was a good fighter that had no wind and was slow a n d solid power. After Floyd fight He got unlimited wind,heavyweight power and sugar Ray speed. That don't happen when a fighter at a certain point in they career. You are what you are but you can sharpen some things and have a good game plan. Simple and plan a fighter don't turn into king Kong overnight from a Gorilla unless it's something at play. You can fool some people but some not stupid.
Errol can be successful at 154 and 160 same goes for danny Garcia Crawford and even Thurman Now 168 and up gets dangerous the pool of guys get significant bigger

I would want to see Spence beat Fundora, but I cannot envision how he can do it. In his fight with Crawford he lacked timing, reaction time, feet, and his first time being knocked down was with a jab like punch from Crawford. Fundora is bigger so there is a definite natural weight and height advantage and he's extra tall and strong and aggressive.
He ain't chopping down anything. fundora can not be broken down. Too big and durable. You have to knock him out cold with one bomb. And Errol has never had that type of power to get a guy out of there with one shot.
I thought spence was falling off when porter almost got him. The knockdown won it barely. A lot of his fights been toe to toe banging . But just my opinion .
Sad how the body can take a toll on you. Had him amd crawford fought before the crash could've been different but since the accident hell never be the same. Body different mind different plus the drugs hit different n 2024 and he's my favorite fighter. IJS

There is a reason for that. PBC is very strategic and has promoted Spence as a cashcow (which he is not). He is a product of match making, they use the Texas market cause they know Texas has a large boxing fan base. If they had him fight a tuneup u would see that he ain't no PPV star the way they say he is. That's why all his fights since he won his first belt have been opponents WITH NAMES. They must continue the illusion that no matter what Spence sells. They are fighting in Dallas with a large Mexican fanbase and Fundora is Mexican so it's gonna do decent numbers regardless

Plus Spence got tye PBC brand behind him and they have a bunch of casual fanbase that don't follow boxing but are fans of Floyd and whatever is popular. You will see the reason why Errol left the 154 division to weight bully welterweights and lightweights. This fight is a cashout hence his tweet that we may not see him again.
If Fundora doesn’t fight his regular style and tries to fight behind his reach like he did against Tszyu then I think Spence wins. If he fights his regular aggressive style he stops Spence.
I see what SPENCE AND ERROL IS DOING, they don't want to run the rematch but they also know that the rematch won't sell, now if Spence makes himself look good in this fight and Crawford does the same in his, they will do it again.

EJ is gonna have to be defensive minded, stay low, focus on The body and UPPERCUTS. Those wild ass hooks wont work early. He needs to hook from an angle not on the line. He should look out for defending the uppercut as well..
he lost to Crawford for two reasons he stood in the pocket for too long and he tried to exchange with Crawford. You don’t beat Crawford by trying to exchange with him. That’s not how this works. He didn’t have the speed in the defense to go blow for blow, but he does have is the ability to attack the body and break you down he jumped on him way too early and the fight is my favorite boxer so I can teach him without feeling any type of way. The reason why he got rid of Derek James because Derek James failed tremendously of his career but it’s also EJ‘s fault because he couldn’t stay out of his own way once he got hit a few times with that jab he should’ve realized let me get on my bike and work with with he gives me he should’ve allowed Crawford to go on the hunt unfortunately by the time Crawford went on the hunt. He was already battered at that point Crawford great boxer him that was his speed and his crisp timing just looked like realistically he stayed at 147 for too long

But when they questioned his win against Louie Castillo, he double backed and fought him again.. when they question his win against Marcos maidona he went back and fought him again. Nothing changes with Spence Vs Bud at 154 except 7lbs & gloves be 2oz bigger! other than that same ring same type ahh whooping for Spence! The weight didnt lose the fight for Spence the SKILL LEVEL did! you dont get more skill being 7lbs heavier!
