Omg! I love this so much! Little Shop is literally one of my favorite shows ever!! I love Sweeny Tod, In the Heights, Guys and Dolls, and The Music Man. Literally my school's done all of these!
Go to (Aladdin on Broadway TripAdvisor) and there everyone says the Genie steals the show. Nothing but praise for the show but even more for James Monroe Iglehart's performance. And lets face it, even though the show is called Aladdin, the real star is the Genie. Just like it was in the animated movie. It was really Robin Williams movie, and this play is really James Monroe Iglehart's show. Sorry Adam Jacobs, you were great in the show, but its really Iglehart's show.
My suggestion if the genie appears in Wicked: During Popular.. Galinda ,for some reason, rubs the green bottle... and I'll leave it to the writers what happens next... maybe the genie can make Elphaba finally wear the ball gown... :D
+Fionna Adeline I think what we have to remember is that most (if not all) of those ensemble guys play the law enforcer gang members for part of the show. Those guys are fully grown men, while Aladdin is supposed to be a younger, perhaps mid-teens. I think they just wanted the other guys to look older. ~Shannon
