Wish there was a surviving clip containing Hayden Rorke off-screen. Would love to have seen him in an interview, In all the "I dream of Jeannie" interviews, we have the main three and they're lovely, and it feels a tad bit empty without dear Dr Bellows. In many interviews Larry Hagman said it was "Hayden who convinced me to stay, and held the show together" Beautiful video, thanks for the upload!! ☺
the actor had MASSIVE PROBLEMS OFF CAMERA! he drank heavily, he bossed people around, and his ego was revolting to the point he had to have a psychologist on set. he was a reck!
I watched I dream of Jeannie with my family back in the early 70s and we enjoyed it so much! Those were enjoyable times. It was easy to see the good chemistry between the entire cast. Sad that Hayden "Dr. Bellows" Roarke had already passed away. He was very classy and helped make the show a big hit.
I just can't get over Barbara Eden's Beauty. I really do love her. She will always be the most Beautiful Women EVER. And Beautiful is REALLY AN UNDERSTATEMENT.
I remember watching Barbara's first appearance on Dallas when I was watching it last week. And for some reason as she walked close to the camera, my heart started beating really really fast.
Oh gosh! this made me so nostalgic. I am so so sad that Larry and Hayden are not in this world anymore. No TV series is better than this one. Dr. Bellows was excellent as a psychiatrist intrigued by Tony. And Larry Hagman was a great actor with a perfect comic timing. He doesn't get the credit he really deserves. Made me cry...I still watch the re runs. It's a world I escape into.
J Maddox....What a nice person you are to share this with everyone ~you have contributed to television history so you should be very proud. Thanks so much !
I always thought it the best idea that they brought in Major Healy in on the act to know Jeannie. The combination of Nelson and Healy was hysterical on that show when they would try to pull off their capers or to hide something from Doctor Bellows. The only mistake, which they've admitted themselves was the marriage of Major Nelson to Jeannie! But they were a great combo, those three!
I love this show I dream of Jeanie I love Larry hagman and Barbara eden I was they finally got married in the 5th season it was beautiful show rip Larry hagman love you.
+Will Durham I know. I just don't understand how anybody could be less than wonderful to this incredible lady. I honestly believe that I'd take a bullet for her and we've never even met.
I from INDIA & I watched this show in 1996-97 on Indian channel SONY TV with HINDI translation when I'm tought in middle School... & Trying to do Never missed any episode by me. Pair of Genie&Tony so adorable & eye catching.. Tony nelson was my crush on that time...but I liked him paired with genie too...
barbra eden is old as hell in this clip and she's still good looking!!...she does look like she got some work done but she's still attractive even at this age
Donny & Marie had a TV show during that time (2001 ?) based in Los Angeles and their producers coordinated this reunion. This was shot immediately after the show backstage
Right at 1:58 Barbara looks at Larry and bits her bottom lip. I don't know if that is affection to him or not. But she definitely did and yes I caught that.
PARABÉNS O TESTEMUNHO É ESTE QUE DEUS NOS DEU A VIDA ETERNA ESTA VIDA ESTÁ NO SEU FILHO QUEM TEM O FILHO TEM A VIDA QUEM NÃO TEM O FILHO DE DEUS NÃO TEM A VIDA JOÃO 5, 11 A VOLTA DE JESUS É IMINENTE.
Um... is this an "I Dream of Jeannie" reunion or an "I Dream of Jeannie and Donny and Marie (and Sonny and Cher and The Captain and Tennille and...)" reunion? Be sure to see Barbara Eden's solo interviews on the subject. Hagman expected to be the star, and when Eden was given top billing and then the fans went nuts over HER, he started regularly throwing tantrums and threatening to quit the series. What you're hearing here ain't the real deal. (In fact, Eden had worked with big cats before and had been taught how to deal with them; but ol' Larry "knew better" than she did. Apparently not.)
ShadowⓋ ShadowⓋ They had a daytime TV show and their producers booked the jeannie cast for a reunion... so in order for us to have access backstage, to interview the cast, they wanted the Osmonds to be in on it... to promote their show or some shit... we didnt have any say in it
