@@mariobustos35 it might have been in the ManCity media Kyle extended his contract interview video? I know I saw/heard Kyle say that also - send Bernardo to ask Pep for day off bc Bernardo is Pep's favorite/edit, per comment below, Kyle said they were close not favorite.
Very classy manager, as I said above. Never takes credit for his protege's successes, always praises others. One more aspect that people don't realize, which is the fact that he's helping England with the young players he nourishes. That's what really most pundits don't talk about.
His English is perfect. It’s a style, kind of a slang. Notice no one ever asks “what did you say?”. Interesting how he and a few others have made international English language slang a common thing all our ears are used to now. Just think about all the international footballers and athletes who speak a type of pigeon English.
@@blueshadow62 Yup, imagine as a manager seeing these 2 incredibly gifted young players who can play a lot of roles but are still unpolished in certain areas. A man like Pep must look at all of that and get so excited about polishing them where they lack until they become complete Footballers
Found his Foden comments interesting. Translated: "Look Phil, you have all the talent and skills, that has brought you so far in my team, now start adding intelligence to your game and become complete, or maybe, I'll find another one that can!"
For sure, he is the most intelligent manager, he is the best, and is so precise in his calculations and assessment of ability/rhythm of the individual and collective in order to support his philosophy of progressive possession football. And he notices these small differences that your average fan can’t comprehend. It is a relief to hear him reflect this way, sometimes i think it’s just me who has these opinions. Foden has exceptional ball control and is very elegant, great at passing. You’d think he is an ideal pep type player. But there is something lacking from his game, which pep marvellously alluded to as the part of rico lewis game which makes him so effective is almost what phil is missing.
@@Jacqui_Jenny_Gunnarsdóttir yea i know rodri was a squad player for spain uptill the world cup😂😂😂😂 27 yr old squad played.. i know where declan rice stands🙏🙏🙏
@ColbyMcDowell You clearly didn't get the joke - he was joking that Rice would be in the team during the game since Rodri was on a red. He wasn't implying he was buying Rice as a Rodri sub
Kelvin is like rodri in his first season. Fernandinho was getting picked over him. Rodri is just too consistent. Kelvin has to live up to that standard and it's crazy.
@@SonglyWryt.Bon-Burrtook us three season to get the best of Rodri.. the role is so difficult.. but I want Kelvin to play with character and authority.. his energy level must but be alive..
I'm a Tottenham supporter ,but I mean ffs. The levels of journalism in this country are despicable. Trying to trap a genius into slagging off his protige
They ask about Bernardo and Foden, and not about Julian if he is going to play as a starter or substitute; or what is expected of him in the match against Arsenal. How discriminated they are towards him for not being European. WTF!!!!!! 🤬👎🏼
