However, regarding gifts inspite of celebrations, we can accept gifts. Which also can be considered as a Sadaqah (sharing part of your wealth (my direct translation may be not too good)). And in your case, you gave it with a VERY GOOD INTENTIONS and on top of that, you gave things that you also use, love using it, verified its quality...which in Islam, it is very and HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO DO SO, hence, You makes it more meaningful and well intended. Also, I do appreciate the "overthinking thoughts" haha ...it is not overthinking, its being thoughtful and having good awareness. I have watched your videos about a year now, love the content!!
