Hairstylist here - sometimes you do your best for a client within their parameters and with your professional experience and they just aren’t ready to see their best selves. They look 100 times better and with a look tailored to them but they’re used to a shitty generic look and it’s overwhelming for them to suddenly look so different they have to make peace with themselves. It’s nothing we did wrong they just have to settle in is all
such a great end result. The curls really suit him a lot, and it hides the hair loss completely. He really didn't expect walking out with a set of curls hahaha
This has become the most anticipated series! Dan is like a magician, always able to turn things into magic! Curly hair adds volume and thickness to the overall hairstyle, making it look handsome! Callum said that sentence: I didn't actually realize my hair was that cly it's nice, proves everything I said! Thanks a lot for sharing, super great job! 👍🥰👏
Wow, nice! Reshaping, trimming, making the best with what one has. The top looks more curly and fuller, effortless and pleasing. It feels freeing. Beautiful work, Dan!
Perfect example of an exceptional haircut as usual, suitable for texture and density as it's naturally working for him. Clearly, he has side by side issues with people as this hairstyle in his mind is unattainable by cut alone. The thin, frustrated, broken hairs forced to the side look (gone) give so much more confidence along with fullness and balance. Fantastic ! Great job as usual!
Dan you are a GENIUS! It was Callum's lucky day coming into your shop. What a beautiful haircut. I think he was on the verge of tears with the result. I know I was ...
I get this same haircut with a more aggressive bald fade at the bottom and I love it. Looks good with a diamond face shape and curls (and mature hairline lol).
Very nice blend in the crown...I usually end up cutting my own hair using clippers and scissors due to our time factor at work. I will try to incorporate your method when I cut the crown. thanks!!!
hahaha this is such a weird one. One of the best haircuts on the channel I think but the client is not into it. From my perspective the new look suits him so much better it's unreal. Well done !
Great job regal , love your scissor work . My advice is to not brow dry 3 inches from under the hairline its still going to curl from overspray but that middle of the head is so thick it will over hang and clump thus making it look fuller
If you have naturally curly hair and you are styling it like the client does prior to the cut you’re forcing the hair in a direction it doesn’t naturally want to go in therefore encouraging the hairline to weaken and recede. Great cut as always Dan
@@EmreY25I said encourages not causes… If you’re pushing hair in the opposite direction to the grain it will likely have an impact on the hair density of that area.
i NEED this exact haircut, unfortunately barbers in Israel don't know anything about cutting hair properly. I always have to try and fix what I can when I get back home.
The definition of balding is when your hairline is starting to recede. He was a norwood 2.5 in the pics he showed in the beginning. Hes on finasteride now which is why his hair looks way better
I have psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis. I was put on Tremfya, which is a shot e very 2 months, because I had it everywhere (yes there too 😮) but my neck, or hands. I now my skin is normal, and the hair is long and needs some texture. It is growing back, and tiny regrowth sticks out. 😂 I appreciate healthy hair now.
I wonder if lot of these guys who deal with hair loss ever pay attention to their diet and supplements. One of the major causes of hair loss is low vitamin D3 levels not lack of biotin. D3 and Magnesium is what one should be supplementing before anything else to prevent hair loss.
@@Bob17690 yes could be genetic too, but in my family we don’t have any bold people and my younger son has so much hair his hairstylist commented on it that he hasn’t seen anyone with so much hair, yet my older son used to have fairly thick hair but he doesn’t take vitamins and might not be eating the best food and now his hairline is receding. I think it has to do with his diet and not genetics. I myself had the thickest hair ever, i never saw what my scalp looked like that’s how thick it was.
You’re wrong. The adrogenetic hypothesis is a cop out. Pattern hair loss is caused by stress-induced hypothyroidism which causes the adrenal glands to take over the job of steroidogensis but those adrenal hormones cause a lot of problems. I’m not going to get further into the explanation for now.
