We're back! A speedpaint Saturday this time! (I genuinely have such a hard time keeping track of the days and thought I was almost late, but I'm early lol)- ANYWAY- we're back with random 3-way hybrids! I wanted to really get back into some more cohesive creature designs. Which is your favorite?

I'll have to check that out! My brain's first response is usually the reprise to Jack's Lament in The Nightmare Before Christmas lol (I think it may just be called 'What Have I Done?')

As someone who enjoys making hybrids myself, as well as mixing biology with fantasy, these are absolutely AMAZING creatures. I just found your channel today and already adore your work. Each of the hybrids made here very cohesively blend the traits of the animals they're made from, and look like they could be their own fantasy creatures. Honestly, if I didn't know what species they were made from, I would have trouble picking out the traits from each species tucked away in the design. Almost giving me Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them sort of vibes. Again, absolutely amazing work on the designs. I'd love to have all of these guys as fantasy pets. Or maybe pets to some of my more fantasy based OCs /hj

Ah thank you so much!! It's great to hear I did well from someone else who likes making hybrids. They'd all probably make quite formidable companions under the right circumstances (but also probably hard to care for in their own ways lol)- I'm so flattered by this whole comment asdlhjk- thanks again!

The second creature reminds me so much of the beast in The Last Guardian. That one was more like a lemur/cat/bird thingy though haha

"Original species" brings me back some ptsd... people would argue that you can't draw a specific creature because the concept is "owned" by somebody... 🙃

I frequently get a lot of content from RU-vid apparently assuming I'm trans masc- I've checked in with myself a few times and haven't really found that to be the case, but I do toe the line of androgyny a bit lol. It's what prompted using she/they pronouns. I'm glad you like my stuff though!
