I don't mean to criticize, I'm trying to give some advice that I came across for my Massey, but put some electrical tape around the boom so you don't have to measure all the time. Also take off the mower deck. I use a stick as well to move the tractor ahead when I am trenching. I don't know an easier way. I have a 1720 that is a 2018 model, and I have upgraded a lot on it. I moved the marker lights inside the ROPS because you will knock them off mowing. I also added several floodlights for working after dark. I love my Massey and am happy I have it.

I definitely appreciate the advice! The second time I went back out I took the mower deck off, definitely easier to work with it off. I like the electrical tape idea. I think some floodlights would be a good idea, I had to wrap it up at dark on the second day I was there. I am happy with my Massey as well!
