I dyed my hair purple again using manic panic ultra violet! I'll let you know my honest opinion on this dye and take you along for the ride ; )

Of COURSE the conditioner changed it! It majorly diluted it! The TONE is the same but the INTENSITY is blurred. Straight outta the jar would have been much more even. It still looks ADORABLE!

Personal experience. Heat does not help to 'stick' with manic panic. Good old fashioned time is the best. Leave it for hours on a day when you are staying around the house.

I kind of wonder if it would have turned out better if you had just used undiluted dye. I just bought three jars of this so when I do it I'm just going to put it on undiluted and see what happens. I actually wanted to use this first before I do Arctic Fox because this is a bluer purple and I expect it to wash out faster than Arctic Fox.

The inconsistency in the platinum could be due to hair damage and different porosity too Either way your hair looks amazing, and the different shades make it even better....great job (i know its a few years after...but still....great job lol)

I love the color... especially with that green shirt! I have heard that Manic Panic dye fades pretty quickly. Have you ever tried the hair dye Iroiro?

Wow. I flipping love purple violet lilac. You look so cute! . Sorry it's not as bright as you want. Id like to see you try some of Sally Beautys Ion Brilliance colors like rose gold or fuschia mixed with lilac. Love that random music😁.

thank you! I used to use Sally's ion magenta way back in the day and I remember liking it ok, but that the formula was super thick so it didnt go very far. it was a LONG time ago though. maybe I'll give it another try?

Gave you tried pravana hair dye . I love your personality and your videos , they are so helpful especially since I just started dying my hair . I find than manic panic ultra violet fades very quickly . But it is a great color

I've never tried pravana. I dont know how to get a hold of it without a license 🤷‍♀️ I totally agree, not loving the fade out😔 and thank you so much for watching!!!🖤

Does artic fox fade as fast as manic panic? I think manic panic has a professional color as well . Tour personality is great 👍 and so fun to watch 😀 keep up the videos please

Does all the manic panic collors wash compleet out?

in my experience no, they fade tons but never fully wash out. I've always had to bleach out or re color close on color wheel

It looks nice! How do you maintain the colour? What shampoo/conditioner do you use to help? I also love the length and style of your hair. I just cut mine (again) to even out the ends so it can grow in. :)

thank you so much! I only use cold water and shampoo and condition with OGX argan oil of Morocco ( blue bottle) .

my guess is it would become a muddy eggplant color. I wouldn't recommend it if it's not on bleached hair

it was actually alot patchier than in looks on camera, there were actually brown spots. I love manic panic but I probably will use a different purple next time, and completely washed out in 2 cold water washes. I've died my hair for years and this is the fastest fade I've ever experienced
