I actually dyed my hair black 2 weeks ago! I had brown tips and got bored so decided to go jet black and it was amazing! I did it myself, I used box dye.
whoever did her perm did her dirty. it looks like she just took her wet hair out of a messy bun.i thought at first maybe she just didn't know how to style curly hair but dang neither did the hairstylist wtf
Justina George That's my favorite kind of hairstyle, hair after the messy bun look :). It's possible that she did it on purpose, I certainly would. I was unfortunately turned down by three hairdressers because my hair is too thin so they were afraid that the chemicals would fry my hair ;(
Selena Samaroo exactly all she did was a two step thing and I’m not even sure about that because she applied it and straight up went into rinsing so she might did a 1 step thing

The way she says "thank you, mama" melts my heart, it's so sweet. She's a gorgeous girl and I've always been a big fan of dark hair myself, so I was really happy to see someone going for black hair.
Shes a beautiful woman with nice hair, but.. that stylist did her wrong. Disappointed with how the stylist did the hair. The color looks like box dye because it doesn't have much shine to it. The style looks like 2009 when girls were doing the "wet look" to get "curls" by using gel and tons of mouse. It all looks like it could've been done at home for $5, but you know that stylish probably charged 150 or more.
Dariii honestly the color looked good but the guy who styled her needed to take a little more off her ends and I wish he would’ve done a blow out instead of using a diffuser so we could actually see the color 😩
@@ma999ie Some people like that look though, like I WISH thats how my hair would dry naturally. My hair is wavy and when its nice it turns out like hers but most of the time its puffy. I really dont like the whole blow out but but soft curls hair, its very boring and very basic. Im going to a stylist soon and I was planning to ask them to diffuser rather than blow out, its more realistic, like who does that everyday? So to make my point, this is probably exactly what she wanted and there are people out there that want that messy almost crimped wispy hair!

Like technically waves are a type of curl, but those were barely waves. 1c to 2a at very most. You got at least 3c to 4a. Those are real curls. By definition, she got em but really? Not only has she got a perm, those “waves” look terrible.
What had me concerned was when she said she constantly changes her hair so black will be tough to remove if she chooses to but overall it looks so good on her. Glad to see someone going dark for a change.
I was going to comment the same thing. When I was in beauty school we were told never to dye your hair black if you're constantly changing your haircolor
Yes, I too thought that. Mainly because I really came to regret colouring my hair black. It's as big a commitment as going blonde - granted not as costly. But I did get bored of it and then you either have to strip it out or grow it out. Not great if you like to change your hair a lot.
For you guys saying this isn't black hair, it is. Ink black is a black with an underlying red tone, it's soft and natural. Jet black is a neutral black, often containing slight green tones to cancel out the natural red ones in hair. Blue black has an underlying blue tone, which makes the hair very cool-toned and dark.
My natural hair color is medium/light brown and I'm darkening my hair for the past 4 years ranging from jet black to dark brown or brown/auburn. I never understood why everyone goes lighter. Especially with my super pale skin, it looks so nice in contrast.

All the girls who accept doing these hair me out videos are really brave since 90% of the comments here are mean and 70% of the tranformations are unfortunate.
Even though the black hair is nice, it’s really really sad she felt the need to dye her hair and change herself because she was bullied in LA. She was extremely pretty in Iowa after all. ....it’s important to stand true to yourself no matter what the masses say. If she likes black hair, do it for herself no one else. And if you want black hair but strapped for cash, a jar of Overtone or Lunar Tides will get your hair jet black instantly without an expensive salon. Plus dyes such as Lunar Tides or Overtone are way more gentle than box dye.
It's definitely not dark brown. Have you seen dark brown hair? It's jet black. What you see in the sun is a red undertone which means that the hairstylist did a good job making it look more natural. Natural black hair have red undertones.

Such a bad choice :( 1. Her initial hair had an AMAZING color. It suited her perfectly. 2. Her new color is not black but still brown, just a darker brown. It makes her look a lot more mature. Her skin tone isn't the right one for such hair color.
This girl is quite lucky because with her skin tone she can pull off both really blonde as well as black hair (and any shade in the middle). Most people are bound to either a lighter or darker shade due to their complexion. This girl is really versatile. I could easily picture her with quite light blonde hair too.
I don't know why everyone is saying that she's annoying or her hair doesn't look good... I think she's just being her and if she wants her hair to be black and wet looking she can... It suits her and she looks beautiful and that's all that matters... ❤️❤️😊😊
I’ve had my hair dyed ink black few years back and regretted it as I couldn’t dye a lighter color on my black hair once I got sick of the color. The hairdresser told me that I could only dye a lighter shade on my original hair color which then took a year or so to grow out and finally achieve the shade of brown I wanted. Lesson learnt
Is it really self love when you are changing your whole natural look. Getting bored with your natural self and changing it, is not self love. It is dissatisfaction in your real, natural self. Nothing wrong in it. Just don't wrongly justify it as "self love". Just accept it.
Looks great. As a bald dude I'm jealous. It is harder to play with color up there since I don't wear makeup either. Black would look awesome with a bunch of outfits.
