This video is honestly a great showcase of Wikipedia's integrity. While the fake edits stood for a short time, they even had fake sources credited to them, so even when a decent amount of effort is put into vandalism it doesn't even last for a day.
Well yeah they are obviously fake Wikipedia is NOT a good source of information not only are they biased and corrupt but if something isn’t obviously fake it will stay up Don’t get your info from wiki just don’t
I was researching rape statistics once. Ended up on "rape in France" on Wikipedia or something like that. In one sentence they gave 3 complitely different numbers of victims per year. Since then, I don't trust Wikipedia, even though they do stop vandalism very well. They do some good, but one bad article is enough to undermine their credibility for me, since straight up deleting the article entirely would be better (no misinformation).
@@cuh8571 As a 12'3 individual reading this reply, i audibly laughed at the concept of someone who is so small attempting to humble someone even smaller
@@CubeRNGGAs a 17"5 Human being, I can counfirm that I giggle with a lot of force with the idea of making american rap/hip-hop artists shorter than their actual height.
@eggmama170 fax people acting like people are gonna die cus of this. School aint ever gonna ask you to write an essay on some rappers height, shit like this gets fixed near instantly anyway
As a Wikipedia editor, I think this is very entertaining content! I'm pretty sure all of your edits got deleted in under an hour, and Few Snake News is considered unreliable on Wikipedia :(. I think it's reliable but I don't think I would win that argument of Wikipedia. Great video! Edit: Please stop making assumptions in the replies. Yes, I do make silly Roblox videos, but I do edit Wikipedia on my account Memer15151.
Hello fellow Wikipedian - what lmao, yeah, I can't imagine a website with no actual editorial control or credited reliability passing full stop, let alone one where the sole author of its content has publicly announced it to be libellous.
it isn't even well written? It's like you're trying your best to reply to your boss but you have a hangover. or what you would expect from a child @@QuirkySmirkyIan
5:20 for some reason this ban note creeped me out, mainly the “most people who see this message have done nothing wrong” Maybe the thought of being IP banned despite doing nothing wrong creeped me out. Man I get creeped out by the strangest things.
If it makes you feel any better, if any of those rappers edited their own Wikipedia pages their edits would've also been removed. They weight secondary sources higher than primary sources.
@@whatafoolbelieeeeves I'd say it's about the most unoriginal way too look funny as a teenager. "look guys I changed wikipedia to say stupid stuff, I'm verrrrrry funny, right????"
was hoping you were gonna change each one by like a few inches so it's somewhat believeable instead of adding something obviously wrong that would get removed immediately but whatever
Wikipedia editor here: good video, but please for the love of god don’t do this or anything like this. We try our best to get shit right and keep it that way, and when you edit the page to spread misinformation, even if you think it’s an obvious joke, people will fall for it and spread it. PLEASE. DONT. DO. JOKE. WIKIPEDIA. EDITS. Unless it’s April 1.

this comment is the embodiment of the fact you dont know how fast incorrect changes are reverted. People on Wikipedia actually have nothing to do but monitor their pages, try changing something on an obscure page and watch how fast that shit gets fixed.
I must admit, I'm still somewhat confused about this video's premise. 'What better way to humble (someone) than to take a few centimeters of their height?' Uh... why exactly would this humble someone? Is the implication that somebody should feel worse about themselves if they are 'short?
keep in the grind brother ur gonna make it far on this 🔥💪💪 been here since 1k. It's clear u studied this platform a LOT before starting to post in this channel LOL!
what made you think your lack of caring was worth sharing? what value does it provide? it's not constructive to anybody and it has nothing to do with the video. what do you seek to gain by mentioning how little you care? @1FortnitePlayer1123
It isn't "fire", as a former member of the Wikipedia community this is just spreading false information in a place where people try to find information. - Galvorian
Ngl recording yourself vandalizing Wikipedia kind of sucks, when someone has to spend their time sifting through these sources and edits and undoing them.
