I Encountered a HACKER during the Splatoon 3 Splatfest 

I saw a person in some reply sections on GameXplains (who won?) videos, and they were like: “Shivrr was cheating Frye deserves buff BIG TIME”. Had to tell them to chill the heck out.

That probably was "player" lol

He kept getting mirror matches.

Hackers in Salmon Run are the best, there was one that got me and two other people like a million eggs after each wave

No they were just using the homing shot color chip exclusive to the side order dlc early and in a splatfest turf war.

The only problem with that is the match isn't in your records which makes it harder to report hackers/exploits.

Also like what does that benefit them 💀 It was a beginner account too, so even if they do get like so much kills and wins due to hacks they might get their account banned anyway. Seriously what’s the point of that though- I think they were just someone who loves making people have shitty times istg

The sad thing is there have been hacks in the game for a WHILE and people have been using them super carefully to not get caught. The best known use of discretely cheating I've heard of is a subtle aimbot which people have used in conjunction with weapons like Squeezer with a tap fire spam toggle and well you get the fastest possible kill time with that weapon with good accuracy and yeah it sucks to fight. I know nintendo makes it fairly hard to hack as you have to use a hacked switch in the first place plus get around splatoon 3's anticheat which is why most of them are user end only with what we saw in the video as an exception and it's likely he got lucky and ended up getting the host given to him to pull those kinds of cheats off but I can't say for certain as I don't know how the cheat works.

When people spam bombs my game lags so bad

Tbh if you spam specials it DOES make it harder but some specials like the BOOYAH bomb, vacuum, or others will kill you if your not in a safe distance

As a brush main, I've managed to train my hands to get used to super fast brush flicks, and I will be developing carpal tunnel because of it, but honestly, I'm not surprised to hear that people use hacks for that. Makes me curious though, just how fast were they swinging it?

@@gavinopolis I meant that the brush player was 'rolling' with the brush at around double the regular speed. I'm not sure if they were attacking any faster.
