For the seed maker, you should have had a single seed maker output onto a conveyor that would then sort the seeds, instead of sorting the vegetables.

Drae, why not just use 1 seed machine and drop them onto a conveyer so you can sort the seeds instead of sorting the crops themselves? Can put all the baskets on the outside then where they are easier to get to. Also don't forget the Saw splits stacks. Great job though :) love the factory farm

The seed mill will give you seeds based on the weight (like how you need to weigh out iron and cloutium for the drills and harvesters when you forge them) of the produce put in them. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think the less time a plant plot is dry for, the more bountiful the harvest is. So the average weight of a tomato hangs around 1. I'm not sure if it's 1 kg, 1 lbs, 1 banana. I just know that it's either a shave under or up to twice the weight of 1 ( 0.78~1.97ish weight). So just drop the assumption of the number of veggies on the quest is the number needed. It is specifically the weight and there is a good chance you could even it out, but there's also a better chance that you end up shorting yourself by a good 0.6-1.5 weight if you have anemic veggies. Also, if you have a huge chonker of a chopped veggie pile, the game will hate you the moment it hits the seed mill because it will vomit several dozen 10 stacked seed bags of that vegetable. That being said, you might be better off doing something like a conveyor that drops the seeds into a slide that dumps into the back of your hydro-cropper (the combine). I'm pretty sure that, for some reason, currently the logic goes the bigger the plant is in game, the faster it will grow. Just so you know that. So corn and tomatoes will grow the fastest. Broccoli is "second" fastest. Carrots, onions, and beet roots are the slowest. You can verify this with planting all of them at once with a setup like Drae's (which is the most efficient). You'll get tomatoes and corn before anything else. Broccoli will sprout next and you'll have to wait almost another tomato and corn harvest cycle before you get carrots, onions, and beet roots. Last bit of trivia, chopped veggie stacks are like any other resource in the game. Meaning take a saw to it and you can divide it in half by weight. But lucky you. you got to record this before the sprinklers and extra seeds all went to a token based economy. You think you're having it rough, try having to start this all off by hand. Hand water with a bucket or a pan because the watering can that holds 4 sprays is also worth tokens. Unless that's been reverted since. I just know when I started it up, I had to switch immediately to creative to start testing it. Normally I could get it done in normal mode, but the amount of tokens for a sprinkler (some 2160 or so for 1 sprinkler) vs the amount given per soups given (20-150.) Yeah, I'm not in for that much pain to just break things. Ah, I should just finish watching the video before writing my comments. So what happened to your seeds was that they weren't in the "hit box" for the hydro-cropper's seed box. So if you've ever stacked things on top of each other then started taking the bottom items out from underneath, you'll see that some of the upper items just float. They'll keep floating there, completely immovable until you grab it or a near by glitched immovable item. It's easiest to try this with either soup bowls or buckets; just pick them up and drop them on top of each other until you can't any more, even when you jump. Then take the bottom bowl or bucket from under the pile out. The bucket/bowl above it and possibly the one above that should also fall, but everything else on the stack will stay suspended in the air. This, again, seems to just be if an item is set some where and the physics of it is no longer being calculated beyond it being there. So the reason your hydro-cropper was stuck after you dumped all of those seeds in successfully is because some of them were "on top" of the seed box and were immovable and were colliding with the seed box hit box. It's super dumb, but that's probably what happened. You should find your seeds floating in the air somewhere. Just grab one of them and the game will calculate the physics around that bag and the rest should fall to the ground. But you also don't need to refill the hydro cropper. The sprinklers should be refilling it as you're driving under it. It's one of the most broken things I think Max over looked. That being said, having the sprinklers count as water drops and putting out your head lamp is annoying.

hey Drae u can check how many seeds per bag on the side so if it shows 2 dot it mean that theres 2 seed in a bag

i thought drae will sort the seeds that would be easier but he sorted the vegetables and put down so much seed makers to make the seeds

I believe you can drop seeds on each other on the ground to stack multiple packs. Allowing you to hold multiple at once and not doing them one by one. Though I think this only works when done manually, doesn't seem to work well in containers.

If you look at the map there are blue exclamation points marking locations of gift givers. They move around from time to time, once you accept a quest from someone standing still they will not move until you complete the quest.

if you drop seed packs on each other (of the same type) they stack. it'll save you time going back and forth planting one pack at a time

Some vegetables are magnetic and can be pulled off with magnets and dropped on to conveyors. Another way to automate your process a bit more

With the amount of sprinklers you have, you could just use a long row or t pipes instead might need to re dig the holes though.

you don't need vertical conveyers and corners, you can use corners and merger hooks. also the whole audio would be really confusing without context

Not gonna lie, but as much as I feel bad about this because I can only assume the genuine pain it must've caused Drae, my absolute favorite parts of this series have been the game breaks or bugs throughout lol not that the whole process and progression and seeing the genuine success of his builds haven't also been incredibly entertaining. But still that truck in the earliest videos still makes me laugh lol
