The video title reminds me of the first and last Smash Bros Brawl tournament I entered when that game was new. It was a small time regional, but the game was so popular that there were hundreds of entrants. So the format used to eliminate players before the double elimination bracket began, was round robin pools. 10-man round robin pools. If you're used to entering tournaments, you might be used to playing two or three times before you're out. Five or six if you're good. For round robin, you play everyone in your pool. So 9 games, before the actual bracket even begins. Over the course of the next 2-3 hours, I fell all the way out of love with that game competitively. I can't imagine putting myself through that crap ever again, especially not for a game like Sparking Zero...
3 character dp battle? I would go goku black, zamasu, and z broly. Broly is obvious. A five cost that can become a top 5 character with super armor against low dp. Goku black is a 5 dp with a quick transformation into rose, who has instant spark. Goku black himself is rlt strong untransformed. Zamasu is underrated too. He has after image strike and a strong ultimate. Plus if you add him you can fuse to fused zamasu, who can also hang with the greats.
Diaphone, when are you gonna talk about how broken the core combat system is what with Super Counters, Z Counters, and unblockable supers/ultimates being a thing and how it's not good for the health & longevity of the game? I'm sure you and I both know how bad it is. Bring me on so we can discuss if you want, please.
This game's fanboys are doing their best to make sure it dies in a month man I swear to god. They'll constantly say "it's not supposed to be balanced" over and over again to excuse literal broken mechanics that make the game actively unfun to play, and you just know none of them play online at high ranks if they play online at all. I'm very pessimistic towards the future of this game sadly.
Its the like 6th vanish you keep dropping I wonder if the timing is different for that specific one because you always drop the same exact vanish animation. I wish the lab was better. Half of the things I want to lab are not in training like dodging dragon dash etc.
Playing this game is fun if youre a DBZ fan. But watching people play it is terrible. It's not the fault of the streamers; these games have always been jenky and awkward.
Try not to spam ki blasts against afterimage strike characters. Your skill gauge goes up quick when you deflect them. So you basically feed the cheese lmao.
I loved playing bt3 and sparking zero is so much fun to play but yea im over it now because all i see online now is cheese... People running the clock instead of engaging and just plain ol boring after image strikes and yajirobi heals... People wanna win so bad, they'll do anything.
The first match turned me off so much from this game. No thanks, if that’s the play to win I will never touch this game again. Guess it will only be a fun party game with my friends who won’t do shit like that
Who in their right mind ever thought this would be a genuine competitive fighting game? It's just a game for has beens who only buy games when you tug at their nostalgia strings.
Why not try BT3 and give the opinion of someone that played a lot of fighting games, but's new to arena, and say how this one fair to that without the nostalgic glasses. But maybe just I would like to see it xD
@@2Namii a lot of the mechanics require 30 frames to be more lenient. If it was 60 frames, certain techniques would only be executable in the time span of one frame. That’s why it’s important that it’s in 30 frames and why 60 frames is often not used in competitive tournaments. Ask any T3 player and they’ll tell you it’s a blessing.
@@2Namii I mean, it doesn’t look that bad. Also the reason why I assumed they meant competitively is when people say it’s held back by 30 FPS they’re usually talking about gameplay wise too. It’s been a common complaint that I’ve seen a lot so that’s why it was my assumption.
Honestly even knowing it's not a competitive fighting game (in the sense that it'd be balanced etc), this looks amazingly miserable to actually play. I could kinda feel it back in the Tenkaichi 3 days but as soon as we got "Tiers" of characters that just don't react at all to lower tiers it feels over.
lmao this game is so bad, who has more cheese. Giant unblockable burst dash vs insta sparking unblockable ult vs infinite healing stall. Game is legit disgusting.
@@SilverRat-ez2gj Strictly for causals and weebs. Hosting tournaments for a game like this is laughable. Like, what is there to be proud of? It's legit mashing, blocking, and flying around. Fake-combos, unlimited-resource defensive options, and no utility special moves for use in combos.💀
As in people who know a good fighting game from below mediocre sh*t that is only successful because it's based on a popular anime? I mean, isn't it REALLY sad that a game like this has a bigger playerbase money than proper good fighting games that folks are too lazy to even try?
It's a competitive fighting game in the same way Elden RIng PVP is. Actually Elden RIng might be less broken, at least dodges there are not automatic, cost proper resources, and you can roll catch and stuff.
As someone who loves competeitve fighting games, WTF is with all these FGC elistits? This game is literally meant to be a mash fest of party game that you fuck around in and create hype moments from the anime with your friends. It's not trying to be serious like Tekken or SF, so why are you all taking it so seriously?
Put this childish monotonous game in the anime dumpster fire please. Every character is a slave to the shallow mechanics to the point that characters don't even an identity and have no special moves for utility purposes. It's mashing, ping-ponging, goofy ass whiffed hits, terrible camera, and gimmicky clash mini-games. THIS IS BORING.
