An afternoon escape in the campervan to blow the cobwebs away.
I drove out to the small but interesting coastal village of Heysham, Lancashire.
I'm looking forward to some big adventures this year.

Didn't know any of that history. When we think of Heysham all we know is the power station and ferry. So we have to say, thankypi for taking us along and the history x

As a Lancashire Lass, and a lover of Morecambe bay , I’m ashamed to say I have lost count of the number of times I have driven passed signs for Heysham on my way to Arnside, Grange or Silverdale . Not any more. I feel the need for a bit of a day trip. Thanks for sharing. x

Just found ur channel and I have enjoyed watching. I live in the US and I love watching the videos of folks who travel/ live in their camper vans and they share it with us. I have gotten to see some really beautiful places. I also enjoy seeing the little towns and the homes/ buildings in them. I think it’s absolutely beautiful there. Interesting tour showing all those ruins but the Viking rocks and grave from Black sabbath album certain drawn my attention. Nice little village and i basically liked the that hazy drive which created some sort of glowing effect. A complete new place for me! Thanks for sharing, Best wishes.

A very interesting video 👍. I've never really been into Black Sabbath (In the 70s, I was more into such as Led Zeppelin, Hawkwind, Arthur Brown, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard to name but a few 🤣 ) so would never have known about the album cover being Heysham

I would have thought the haze could have been just a deliberate style if you hadn’t said. That type of turn up a lane would be interesting in our van. Lovely location with a beautiful church and yes, what a view from the graveyard. You wouldn’t normally go down those narrow roads. Most people would probably drive straight to the car park. I like to be different! xx
