I actually quite enjoy how the anime decided to portray the current half of the "training" of the Hashira Training arc; when it came to Uzui's, Tokito's, & Mitsuri's training, the manga only showed Tanjiro quite literally breezing quite through them quickly for all 3. So I am glad that the anime decided to portray them a bit more

Zenitsu was so scared of Sanemi he jumpscared Tanjiro and us too

I am telling you, Ufotable thinks the fanbase only likes Tengen and Tokito cuz they were the most prevalent Hashira in their arc so they gave them their own episodes. If Rengoku was still alive, he would've had his own training episode as well.

Answering jamiU about rengoku not having more screen time, The manga of demon slayer actually have some extra and special stories, like rengoku gaiden, and tomioka gaiden, in rengoku gaiden story, it shows kyojuuro rengoku mission to defeat lower moon 2 to become a hashira and he is with a rookie mitsuri that was trained by him, there is another spin off where shows kyojuuro rengoku first mission as a rookie demon slayer. Unfotoble could actually make movies or OVAS about those extra stories some day specially before season 5, would be pretty awesome.

There is levels between jealousy & rage for sure and both are personal, but man Sanemi is INSANE. His harboring some intense anger within him, my 💔 for Genya and this sibling dynamic.

Genya's VA also voices Himmel from Frieren, Bakugo from MHA and Nishinoya from Haikyuu. He will also be voicing young Kuma in One Piece... I'm not really ready to watch that one...

I’m 99% positive that the last 3 episodes are gonna be “Straight from the manga” from here on out. MAYBE they’ll add in some Anime original content here and there.

I like you as a reactor and an audience. I've been watching you for a while and noticed that you aren't really bias. Also, your an amazing reactor, paying attention to every detail and explaining it in your own way. Kinda shocked about the things you said too, (are you foreshadowing some future scenes?). You have your favorite characters but you aren't to bias on them. It seems like you don't see just one character's perspective. I like how you tried to justify on what Sanemi was doing and I'm kinda shock that you're on point at what he really was feeling with Genya. To be honest, Sanemi was being kind to Genya at the first half of their conversation but he snapped when he heard that Genya was eating demons because its Sanemi, the man who wanted to get revenge on the demons and had a deep hatred for them. Genya didn't mean to blurt them out, but he accidentally did. Also, it looks like Genya still love his brother. You know because of this one scene, some people labeled Sanemi as an Abuser which I disagree. Glad you didn't think like that. Also, that scene was something portrayed as comedic in the manga, interesting to see that they made it very different in the anime. (*Added Note:* This isn't in the anime or in the manga, so it isn't a spoiler, but it is in the light novels, yes there is a kny light novel and an official fanbook. Anyway, after the death of the Shinazugawa family and the two brothers parting way. Sanemi would go on recklessly killing demons with just chains, knife, etc. that were strapped on his back. He continued doing this until a demon slayer found him and decided to make him learn Wind Breathing. That's some of his backstory that isn't presented in the anime or manga. There's actually manga spin-offs too on how Kyojuro become the flame Hashira and etc.) I like reactors like you so I'm subscribing. You're a lovely person and I'm going to watch more of your vids. Also fun fact: "Did you know that Kanao was the first one to finish this Hashira training. This is why you don't see her in the Hashira training because she was already finished. What a strong girl. Also, do you know what I really like about this episode. In the previous episodes, you can see that the hashiras favoured Tanjiro. That's why I like the constrast in here because those two (Sanemi and Iguro, both of them hate him and even Tanjiro acknowledged it) plus Gyomei doesn't really know Tanjiro so it was interesting to watch how their time together would play out. Also, Tanjiro was already scolded during the episode where Nezuko had a trial, that he should respect the hashira. It was good that he defended Genya, but the two teens are just triggering Sanemi more (especially Tanjiro). Glad, that Tanjiro has flaws here. There isn't a Talk no Jutsu here.

For those who have read the manga like me we know just how much sanemi actually care about his brother. Plus they really had to extend scenes and stuff because the hashira training arc was really quick in manga and just goes right into infinity castle arc

People who are hating on Sanemi so today I will answer them : 1. Why not Sanemi could have talked Genya to not join the Demon Slayer Corps ? Sanemi wanted genya to hate him because Sanemi thought that if he died one day then Genya would definitely take revenge for his brother, which Sanemi definitely not wanted. Sanemi wanted Genya to live peaceful live that's why Sanemi wanted Genya to hate him. 2. Sanemi was about to blind Genya, which is not justified at all ? Here my theory is, Sanemi just wanted to scare genya because i think Sanemi knew the whole time that tanjiro was there. But How can I so sure ? Because No one was able to find Nakime's eyeball in the entire series because it was made for the purpose of hiding, but Sanemi found it just by a slight sound. Do you really think sanemi wouldn't know tanjiro was there ? Come on Bro, He is literally Hashira. I think Sanemi was checking whether Tanjiro will save Genya or not if he attacks Genya. And when tanjiro came to protect genya, Sanemi sure that Tanjiro will protect Genya 3. Why Sanemi was beating tanjiro If Sanemi was sure that Tanjiro would protect Genya ? I think Sanemi was beating Tanjiro on purpose. Sanemi knew that tanjiro hate Sanemi ( But tanjiro didn't ) and tanjiro is good friend of genya. So, Sanemi was beating Tanjiro which make Genya convinced that Sanemi is a bad person and other reason is, Sanemi thought tanjiro will say bad things about Sanemi to genya which definitely made genya hate Sanemi. That's why he suddenly allowed genya to go to the same training as tanjiro. So that, Tanjiro can say bad thing about Sanemi. Sanemi lost everyone he care for like His siblings, Mother, His friend, His crush So he doesn't want to loose his only brother. 4. Becoming a demon slayer could also be Genya's personal choice so Sanemi was interfaring ? First of all, Being a Demon Slayer cannot be anyone's choice. All the slayer become Demon Slayer for some purpose. And Genya's purpose to demon slayer is the same as Sanemi, "To Protect and Care his Only Brother" which Sanemi not wanted at all. Sanemi is hurt. People just think he’s being a jerk to Genya for fun. Not that it’s okay, but he did witness all his siblings die by the hands of his mother and was forced to kill her and in return was blamed by the only surviving sibling. Just a sad situation with those two.

I actually like the Wind and Snake Hashiras a lot. (But I’m more looking forward to what this Earth Bear Hashira can do. 😁) Snake- He’s got good points and understands the assignment. Everyone has to give it their all and more if there’s gonna be a hope for tomorrow. And he knows they *can* do it, but their will is pathetically annoying (case in point: Awake Zenitsu). BUT I don’t like him simping over the “love” hashira. 😩🤦🏾‍♂️ (As I stated before I really don’t like her, but I’ll admit her training is a h-l in and of itself. Thank god she’s an idiot and isn’t as intense as she could be as a teacher.) Wind- I vibe with his hatetred for demons (except the Upper 6 and Akaza) and weakness. Like snake he understands the assignment. Righteous rage is a favorite of mine. BUT I don’t agree that he should have seriously damaged his brother. Beaten him up sure, but not cripple him.
