Thank you for having me, Yvonne. It was an honour to be able to see and feel the whole herd up close. I have only very little experience with horses and it’s only through following your channel for a long time now and your trustworthy presence and explanations that I was able to just walk into that meadow with you and being surrounded by 10 horses without any fear or problem. Okay, they might have tried to walk me over a little bit, haha. The horses are all so gentle and the young ones very cheeky and curious, I enjoyed it all very much. Queen Uniek is so big and yet, she just put her head over my shoulder in a willing hug. It was a wonderful experience! And Johnny, sigh… Johnny, I think Frieda might have a rival :)

So exciting. I could only dream of being able to visit one day. I’d even help with chores just for the shear pleasure of being in the barn. When I was a child I helped on a horse farm in Scotland for a week and I really think it was the best week of my life. I was so happy. I’ve always found the smell of horses and the saddles to be pleasant as well as the sweet hay.

I love how Annemarie was so thrilled/marvelled, & had so much appreciation b/c she never imagined she'd feel so comfortable➡& not at all frightened being in a meadow w/horses nuzzling her & allowing her to pet them. It's a bit like when an adult goes to the Ocean the 1st time. I think this video is a gift that will 'keep on giving.'

Ginny and Lianna have the sweetest personality and Ginny is certainly very quiet and gentle of the 2 yr fillies I think , I love marijes dappled spots on her rump and hips that will make it easier to tell when they're independent of the mares and in the next year's herd with Lianna and Co. Im so envious right now. I love horses so much. I love the different types of horses out there but I like the Clydesdale the draft horses, friesens to, the Mustang and thourghbred just to name a few. Curious though if I ever came to visit you and the horses would I need a translator since I speak english

Tracy Phillips Training doesn’t begin until the horses are 3 years old simply because Friesian’s take much longer to develop than other breeds so if they are started earlier there is a chance of injury because muscles & bones aren’t developed enough.(Friesian’s don’t stop growing until they are about 8 years old.)If you’d like to see how the training process goes at Stal Goengamieden,there’s an 8 pt series of videos Yvonne filmed in January of this year showing the beginning stages of training for Eefje,Elbrich & Frieda who are 3 years old,Elbrich however has since been sold. You may have seen Frieda in the videos she is always with Uniek & Pjirkje,Eefje has gone to stay at another facility for awhile with a young girl who has been training her further but she will be back soon.😊

Hi Hector. I am the Annemarie in the video. It is 2 years ago when this video was recorded. Stal G is a breeding farm (for hobby) and they never have the males and females together, it is said to be dangerous even. The males are kept together in one meadow and the females in another, if there are any stallions, because they get sold often early on. Since the Friesian race was almost extinct several years ago, breeding only goes through artificial insemination after careful consideration of to pair who with whom. But maybe you've already found the videos about this subject.

It was a very thoughtful gift to Annemarie that she could meet with the Ladies Herd and some of them have appreciated the cuddles they received especially Lianne and Ginny the beautiful Fillies from Saly It was nice also to see boss Geertje and Myrthe 😢 and a short glance at Uniek 😢 You were a very good teacher Yvonne and I am sure it was a precious souvenir for Annemarie
