Yo A Friend, I was the dude complaining that you were talking to at the agility arena. Let me sum up what I meant: The problem with agility arena rn is that you cannot get the high xp rates anymore even if you wanted to. The xp is basically hardcapped at ~36k/hr. They basically said 'ok here, we cut your xp in half and you will enjoy it because you get rewards too'. Obviously this is great if you were just going for coll. logs/the rewards, your xp is almost tripled compared to what you got before and you're still getting the same rewards. But if you were doing this for xp (it could hit almost 70k/hr before btw which is pretty competitive for agility) and don't/didn't care about the rewards: you literally cannot do that anymore. The obvious solution imo is to let the reward voucher also be able to be used for xp, while leaving the xp tickets alone. This way you can still sacrifice rewards for more xp, but also still get some xp when going for rewards. Edit: it turns out the pillars WERE bugged and the xp went up to ~50k/hr now at 90+.
Also this really screws anyone who had like 1k+ tickets banked and wanted to do a big turn in. They just lost so much XP Yeah either let the brimhaven vouchers be turned in for xp or just turn in the brimhaven vouchers 1 for 1 for agility tickets. Bit annoying to exchange them all but better than losing out of half of the XP you could have gotten if you don't want to save up for any items.
i saw king condors video that got people interested in these and ive been thinking the exact same thing for a very long time now my foolish ass just never invested in it haha i bought a couple buy limits at 200k and sold at 2m calling it a day, i didnt know 4m was in the cards i wouldve banked on it around christmas side note: they'll make fally diary take just the prospector helmet but lumby elite still requires EVERY QUEST in the game instead of a QP req...actual bullshit, the bar goes higher and higher for every one that comes out and they only get more difficult lmfao
jagex has to do this because they sell gold for real money via bonds and if they left it they were breaking gambling laws its the same reason they removed the sand casino and flower poker. this was never a legal issue till jagex started selling gold
Honestly the fact that they were ever worth 4m is a failure of jagex, the rares were reintroduced because they were supposed to be worthless and no discontinued
Not massive fan of Jagex oversights, the deaths coffer is designed to upkeep healthy economy and be an itemsink and every time they overlook stuff like this means momentarily increased inflation as several players don't have to worry about death costs for a long time.
Jagex will do everything in their power to stop people from gambling in their precious game. (Except treasure hunter, because you lose REAL money to that, so it’s acceptable)
I'm fine with that. Gamblers cause the RWT issues of this game, they don't need to exist in Runescape and can find other things to do in life that is more meaningful to the community they put themselves in.
@@KamaNightfire Gambling is a tiny fraction of the RWT in this game. Most of it comes from idiots that just want a tbow now and don't want to earn one themselves. That's (partly) why bonds were introduced
