I am from Janakpur. 7:30 : The music is SitaRam akhand jaap. It never stops, is 24 x 7 x 365 . People come in shifts, and anyone can join. It is done for maintaining peace in the world. Near people chanting, there is one of the world's most unique collections of Shaligraam.. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaligram ( one of the oldest fossils). Some believe akhand jaap came into existence to protect the fossils, which represents Lord vishnu.
