Probably the most incredible location with abandoned vehicles I have ever explored! There were also some incredible car’s here including a Porsche 924 & a Toyota Soarer with the legendary 1JZ twin turbo engine! Most of the bus’s & coaches are sadly Beyond repair, but at the same time it was amazing to see how nature was slowly reclaiming them. Like the other places I’ve visited this location will not be shared with anyone so please don’t ask. It dose still belong to someone and they are only a stones throw away! Hope you like the video guys, I have many more similar places coming up soon!

That's the life of vehicles, man They get used for 20 years or so, and then thrown away because it is no longer profitable to fix them. Plus new pollution laws, new tech, adblue, etc..

Brilliant place! Maybe someone was into coach conversions once, either into campers or mobile shops or something, that would explain the stacks of seats piled up. I looked up some of the plates I saw and some coaches were actually active in 2011 and 2012 so not as long ago as one could believe, even the SEDDON/ATKINSON tow truck that looks like it had been sitting way longer than that. That yellow Optare coach that looks quite modern was in fact first regd in 2002. I think these trees grow quite quickly so if you don't go over the yard with a brushcutter once a year it doesn't take long to look like this.

I can at least explain the bus seats. Long ago I worked for a bus restoration repair company in the US that had both Trailways and Greyhound as a client. What they would do is bring the bus there and instead of taking time to repair individual seats they would take them all out, replace them with rebuilt stock and then start working on the ones they removed. This saved the bus company from having downtime, downtime loses money when it concerns buses.

That old green Bedford coach/bus looks very similar to the ones that the Royal Navy used to use for ferrying personnel around. If it is one then the mileage could very well be right as they didn't really do all that many miles. It looks like that one was converted into a motor home after it left service... From the looks of things I'd say this place was a bus breakers as it looks like most of those vehicles were missing some parts...

I mean, there are still old buses driving, but not like these ancient elephants displayed in this graveyard. I think i saw a Leyland wich is defunct since '86. In the end it doesn't matter what is my opinion or yours. These were not profitable to keep on the road anymore since 1995, by the way the look and the size of the trees grown among them. ✌️

@@dan_6915 I see you meant for a proper transport company that would use these on a daily basis, I meant as a museum that would use them on specific days. I agree even in the UK these old coaches do not get used by transport companies that would use these as daily vehicles, you don't see these being used every day but they do still get used by museums and other collectors that may hire them out.

@@H9Gamings Museums buy/accept products in good condition. Only a rare model is accepted in bad condition. These are basic buses. If there was something museum worthy here, it was probably already taken, restaured and displayed. These are big products. Difficult to move and hard to work on them.. Someone's business, someone's life. Perhaps the folks who owned and worked this site couldn't in the end carry on and make it pay. It is very sad to see the vehicles and all their personal stuff like this. Hopefully in time it will all be resolved, and that the owner will receive something back when the time comes to finally sell up. Thank you for sharing this with us. All the best.👍

Worth noting that the Austin A35 may be showing 81,000 miles, but modern cars have an extra digit for hundreds of thousands, that this doesn't have. It could have belonged to somebody that took it to the shops once a month, but more likely the counter has rolled right over and started again. My guess would be that it would more accurately have done around 181,000.

I think it was in the early to mid noughties, if I had to put money on it I'd say 2004 -2006, it was 53p per ltr in 1997 (I can remember a friend moaning like a child at having to pay the ever increasing prices) and when it went past the pound it was me moaning like a child to him about the 85% rip off tax on petrol. I think those in the US of A pay about half the price for petrol/gas that we do, its like the song said "Hanging on quiet desperation is the English way" It's sad what this country has become a people of restricted freedom and a youth mind washed to repeat what the tv/media tell them, that reminds me of another song "Welcome, my son Welcome to the machine Where have you been? It's alright, we know where you've been You've been in the pipeline, filling in time Provided with toys and 'Scouting for Boys"
