For anyone needing like dumbed down version of DDOS. We’ll just say that the data being sent into anything such as your memory, storage, internet connection and so on are called “packets”. DDOS would be a “packet attack” where someone can forcibly send you data disrupting your connection to specific things and overloading your computer. Aka it’s illegal to do so. The generic way of putting it is: “Asshole removes your PC’s access to the internet via packet disrupting.” Which is why people get put into offline or they just can’t connect to things. Depending on the severity of the DDOS attack they can hold your PC hostage and not allow you to do anything on it via the internet. I think they get your IP address via the program and attack it directly so not just your PC takes the hit. All your devices will, if they really want to do so. I tried my best to not use any terms and basic wording so it’s somewhat easy to understand but maybe I made it more confusing. I have experienced first hand because an idiot friend was able to do so then accidentally sent an attack on his own IP address😂
How can he specifically DDOS a overwatch game though? How does he get away with that without hurting blizzard and getting feds on him? Like how can he specifically target such this server so easily?
Cyx I love you but unfortunately I am rooting for Chazm. He's simply top dog. EDIT that's the Chazm factor making it such a close game despite going against Hog, and that Lucio and Tracer.
