I had never even heard of Eykah Badu but goodness this was just the best testament to her character possible lol. 1,000 celebrities and she was far and away the friendliest and most appreciative.
Damn dude.. You've got some serious balls to go through with these things. You're going to end up making friends with a ton of celebrities by doing this. Oh, and your video editing is always top notch. Keep it up!
Had no idea who she was and had to look her up which is a huge win for her if others are doing it too - her work isn't necessarily my thing but it just goes to show how being down to earth is a big deal.
agree. They may think he's trying to scam them, or blackmail them. A more casual approach, would prob work better. ALTHOUGH fun video, and well edited/scripted. i think this guy will get his own TV show or something eventually
That’s not the problem, by him making this video, showing people the website, and how to verify the numbers is doing a much bigger disservice to these celebs than actually helping them, this is gonna attract more people to scam or attempt to call them
Exactly, that’s how they get you, they are overly formal and include some link that could give your device a virus. But honestly, I would ignore and block anyway regardless of how formal or informal that text is because scammers also would try to bait you by sounding casual. Some actually do wake up to the fact that formal texts sound out of place and sketchy.
wow. i had a stalker once and i felt the same kind of vibes here. " i have called her 6 times, left voice mails and sent text messages, i wonder why they don't pick up". Idk i think trying once is enough
@@WillowtheMuppet Because she's comparing his consistent/persistent nature for a RU-vid video with a literal stalker that she experienced. Of course he keeps calling its for his YT video lmao
@@Mattenedexactly. if he was genuinely doing this for their security, why would he request them to "let me know you saw this I'll send you the link", instead of purely sending them where he got their # from? ego mentality
He's doing this for content, not for helping anyone. It makes no difference to them. They'll find out when someone calls them that shouldn't, and they'll change it.
Aw Jane Lynch was so nice. Some of the “wrong numbers” could’ve been picked up by a friend of assistant of theirs, but if it genuinely was somebody else it would still be worth telling them their number is listed on that website under [celebrity name]
When producing some documentaries, I've cold called a few famous names: Those who did answer (not many) either hung up or directed me to their manager, "Call my Manager with what you told me [your pitch] and she'll set something up."
I feel like getting a bit upset with those who either hung up on you or pretended to not be a celebrity is extremely weird. I would do the exact same thing and I think most people would. Like you're randomly calling them and telling them "I'll send you the link to get this taken care of." They have every right to be sketched out and tell you anything they want to get you to leave them alone.
I agree! Plus, if they confirmed their identity, this random person they don’t know will now have proof that it’s their real phone number. Even if Jack had no ill intentions, the celebrities don’t know that. It’s a legitimate security concern.
Also agreed. This is legitimately just stalking at this point and seeing my colleagues on here made me pretty uncomfortable, to say the least. I know the tactic is usually to be nice to stalkers so they'll leave you alone, but I don't know what I'd do if some stranger somehow found my number online and kept calling me, texting me, and leaving me voicemails. This isn't the first RU-vidr I've seen do this, either.
"Seeing my colleagues" Bro stfu you are not a celebrity. Totally agree that this is a shitty thing to do but you remove any level of credibility when you include your delusions of grandeur.
...Incredibly false. Claiming you are not who you are is stupid, since the caller is not a stalker and is literally not even intending to attempt to talk to you.
And Whitepages is already a pretty well-known site. I doubt that these celebrities needed a random content creator to inform them that their numbers are leaked or how to take them down. They are likely much more informed on their privacy issues than average people. His attempt to look like he was simply trying to “help out” and do the “morally right thing” is just a way to justify his creation of the video. I’m pretty sure that he is simply doing this for views and not for the well-being of the celebrities. The fact that he lied about discovering the numbers accidentally and was also changing his wording to try and get a response suggests that the main thing he was looking for was a reply from the celebrities he messaged, all while operating under the guise of good intentions.
@@SweetflyRachel And, many of them have publicists that handle this exact thing. If anything, this guy has just made their jobs more difficult by enacting Barbara Streisand effect.
He says he doing it for their "safety" then proceeds to show snapchat usernames and shows everyone what website to get their info from lol keeping them real safe my guy
@@MatthiasLehnen I mean, it's a bit entertaining, even if it's wrong. That's not hypocritical by itself. But trying to convince us that he's worried about these celebrities...
He also calls them like eight times. One FaceTime for the video and then a text follow-up if they don't answer is all that's needed. Continuing to call and FaceTime over and over again is weird. It's no wonder when they finally answer they say it's not them, because they think this guy is a stalker.
Erykah Badu is only one of the greatest of all time. I remember meeting her in person when I was a cook at an Olive Garden. She asked to meet me face to face and gave me a very nice tip for cooking her meal so perfectly (Which I split with the 2 other cooks in the kitchen) such a prize to get told to call her anytime you wanted to.
Because they don’t owe him anything he’s not entitled to shit. This video made me lose respect. First one was cool but now he clearly just does it for views and likes.
@@drnanard9605 you're making a totally wrong comparison. It is common knowledge that glass windows are fragile. But in the case of the video, many people, or celebs aren't aware at all.
@Zelphyn I know this is the nerdiest shit you'll hear but windows in planes, helicopters and skyscrapers are not fragile only windows on cars and smaller buildings are 😂
This video was really cool and it’s nice to see that you’re not trying to make money off of leaking their numbers as well you’re genuinely trying to help them. Trust me when I say you make the world a better place😊
Hahaha he just showed the whole world how to get celebrities numbers and vertify the number, I never heard of white page or the other site now I do thank to him. There was one celebrity who told him not to tell anyone and he put it on RU-vid 😂 This particular video is just for the views
Thank you for doing that. Celebs are normal people like us who just want some privacy, if those numbers got into the wrong hands there is no doubt they would have been harassed.
I like how Jack implies he is doing the right thing and yet he cold calls people 5 times and they don't answer. Doing the right thing is NOT annoying people who have limited time. I think it would be more reasonable to just send a text message instead of trying for your 5seconds of fame with a celebrity. If you truly want to help them there's no reason to call when a simple text is less intrusive and would probably be more effective. Just being honest but if someone called me and said, "Just letting you know we can find your number online and I dont want people with bad intentions calling you..." my response would be, "Like you?"
Would you rather receive a call from someone who genuinely wants to help and is taking the time to reach out, or would you prefer to receive a cold, impersonal text message that could easily be ignored or overlooked? I think it's important to consider the intentions behind the actions, and in this case, Jack's intentions seem to be genuine. As for your response, I can see where you're coming from, but it's also worth considering that Jack may be trying to do the right thing and protect you from potential harm.
@@LuciusSimonsen A phone call is worse than a text for me personally and if i dont answer the phone, calling back repeatedly i consider to be very rude. Also, I don't agree that it's easy to see Jack's intentions are genuine. If someone called me and told me that my phone number was publicly available online then told me to go to a website to remove it..... Yea..... That sounds like a scam to me and I would ignore it and be annoyed at the person calling to bug me about it. In this case, (from the perspective of the person being called) Jack is the one doing harm by calling them repeatedly. I'd prefer a text like, "Hey I found your number on and I wanted to let you know that if I found it others could too. I recommend you google this website and see how easy it is to get your number taken down from this website if you want to avoid being bothered by people like me for no reason." Telling someone to go to a website is a red flag to anyone with a brain so you encourage them to google it and find it themselves. Also, you have to include yourself in the group of bad actors in this situation because you're texting/calling random people... to warn them about random people texting and calling them. Doesn't matter why you're doing it or what good intentions you think you have... You're one of the bad actors who found the number and did exactly what you claim you wanted to stop others from doing.
@@LuciusSimonsen their number isn't leaked and taking it off of one site doesn't do anything. You'd have to pay someone to opt out of the 100s of other sites to really go ghost
@@Grant849 That's a valid point, and you're right that removing your number from just one site may not completely solve the issue. However, it's still worth taking steps to minimize the exposure of your personal information online, and every little bit helps. Additionally, by reaching out to offer assistance, Jack is demonstrating that he cares about your privacy and wants to help in any way he can. So while removing your number from multiple sites may be a more comprehensive solution, I think it's still worth acknowledging the efforts that Jack is making.
@@LuciusSimonsen lol if he genuinely wanted to help he wouldn’t be making content with this. He wouldn’t have said ohh there not responding I’m giving them all the info I need them to respond don’t be daft this isn’t someone trying to help this is someone whose desperate for fame and trying to fake being wholesome
Calling celebrities must be so exciting but it’s great how you’re helping them out. Wish I can have a one on one with a celebrity. I’ve always wanted that.
Couple things. 1: I guarantee you that phone call with Neil woulda been the longest call in the video and you would understand the universe after. 2: My guess for censored celeb was Dwayne Johnson. 10/10 3: Did you go to Erykahs concert she invited you out too???? She seems like such an amazing soul, im boutta go look up her music now.
Most celebrities have a manager and most managers tell the celebrities if any random people call them just pretend like they are not them, which is explains why they keep denying who they are
Managers don’t tell you how to live your life, especially morally. You think the queen who invited him to the concert doesn’t have an entire management team? And Jane Lynch? Come on now. Most people don’t lie just because someone tells them to.
@@larsonfamilyhouse it’s so there phone number is not found like how it was on the video otherwise they would have millions of fans constantly calling them and would have to change there phone number
Hey Jack-- great video! Just to let you know, though, that by putting in a pixelated version of the celebrity that asked to be removed, it was pretty easy for me to think of big celebrities and find him pretty quick (The Rock). Apart from that, phenomenal video! Love these.
omg i've been using spy dialer for years, it's great! you can even listen to people's outgoing voicemail messages to see if it's them (if they set it up, which a lot of people have lol). great video as usual!
@@drnanard9605 I totally get where you’re coming from and I do think he shouldn’t do this every single time but at least he’s doing it from a genuine place rather than prank calls or stalking them at their place like many others would attempt to do.
Something about this just doesn't sit right with me, man. I don't see how it's helpful to spam celebrities and make a video showing people how easy it is to spam celebrities
Wow, what a swell guy...Calling all those celebrities to inform them that their numbers been leaked online... But in the end, the internet will just find their new numbers, faster than tik tok fame... Ultimately, he's doing celebrities a disservice... But his channel, a big boost! At least he looks out for number one!
that "anonymous" celebrity was the rock. I figured this out by matching his blurred pic to the first one that popped up. plus, the alias he used in the texts was donatello pancake, and well the rock's favourite food is pancakes. Investigator CooperTG does it again..
@@JackGordonYeah that’s why you put the song he sang from Moana in the background and made him the thumbnail. Because it’s not him. This isn’t a game. These are real people whose lives you’re playing with for clout. He literally said don’t put him in the video because he doesn’t need another stalker and you did it anyway. Do you even know how many celebrities have been killed by stalkers and psycho fans? Yet here you are giving them the tools to hunt them down if they didn’t already know.
youtubers have so much power, they can literally act like celebrities and trick the whole world, and make planes think they are in the wrong place, and make celebrities dm them and tons more, and im all for it
Glad I could help you get phone numbers for the video! Great job Jack I hope I was able to help you and can’t wait to see where you go in the future. 🔥
He’s literally doing more damage than good by exposing the tools and website to go to to track them down……. Now millions will be looking for these celebs on this site etc
@@Dartanyoogles BINGO! Even tricked me with his clickbait lying thumbnail showing The Rock. I watched the whole video and didn't see him talk to The Rock.
Speaking for myself, I could never make 1,000 phone calls to anyone for any reason, much less celebrities. I'd have a nervous breakdown by the 3rd or 4th call. Where most of us are at our weakest, you seem to excel. Keep calling celebrities, and you'll probably be one someday, honestly.
i can really appreciate the last one she was a real down to earth person not some over inflated ego star not many stars or famous people turn out to be good people i do understand the amount of bs they have to go through from crazy people but still nice to see a few that are still humble people i respect them more when they are like that
Bro, this is an obvious informational hazard and you shouldn't have posted this video. Thousands of people will know about these sites/think of malicious ideas because of this. I don't understand how you think this is helpful to celebrities, please leave them alone and make content off something else
I worked plain clothes security for celebrities as a police officer. As long you treat them like a normal person they’ll treat you even better and with respect. It’s kinda shows in the video.
