Anyone that is focused to their destiny by defying all odds never get disappointed Lynn. Success is for those that never say never to hiccups till they achieve their goal. This young man is the epitome of that narrative and so is some of is that thrived to where we are. Good things never come easy just like "not all sweet things are healthy". Getting everything on a silver platter shall never teach you self worth but individual commitment to your destiny, of course with God holding your hand is a sure way to attain your ultimate goal and gracious peace of mind in your sunset days like some of us. There is nothing fulfilling like hitting 50 to 60yrs without any mental or healthy issues. It takes self-care and God to attain such feat. We keep educating, its upon the youth to see what they can do wiry these free tips. Thanks Lynn.
@@kijanamsafiinteriordesign4521 I will look for you to do some work for me. Keep on doing the great job as role model to many youth that give up easy or keep lamenting there are no jobs yet ni kujituma hawataki kufanya. Always thinking outside the box allows one better options or a better way to do the same idea as you did. I am proud of you 100%.
Ongeri is the Michael Jackson of interior design-think how MJ sung his heart out, crowds moved to tears. Gabriel's tears😢 tells you his passion runs deep, no room for mediocrity. I love that he took lessons from his many past jobs. 🎉
We from diaspora will be your clients. We are so many out here looking for trust worthy people. Good Job well done. You have gone on my list. Will build this house 🙏🏾
Gabriel !!! He was always destined to go far .I worked with him 10 years ago and he was the best employee, hardworking very passionate and disciplined .He would do even the most mundane tasks with excellence and never needed supervision hence posted to the most critical station. Happy to have been part of your journey and am so proud of you!!
This story inspires me more 3 yrs remaining to achieve my goals bt am soooo tired feeling like to give up bt now iav stand firm iwil never give up till iwil achieve my goals God help me 😢
Inspiration of the highest order. Lessons learned: *From humble beginnings to higher heights. *Low grades do not mean the end of your dreams and goals. *Never give up due to circumstances. *What God has planned for you no man can undo. *Your journey is your own road. Someone can walk with you but no one can walk it for you. *Papers can be a way to earn a job but passion, gifts and talents are the mother of quality. *When one door shuts, another one opens up with great opportunities. *Wisdom and understanding are the best tools towards success. May God bless the work of your hands @ Gabriel. Thank you Lynn. ❤

Lyn, I'd love if you hosted my former boss, never went past form 4 but the things he has done and people he has employed and motivated in this here Nairobi. He has a very inspirational story.
Forget all the current popular names in the Kenyan comedy industry. Kijana Msafi is the funniest comedian I have ever seen as much as he doesn't practice the craft now. Back in high school he was popularly known as "Getho"...those that attended the popular high schools in Kisii like Cardinal Otunga Mosocho, Nyabururu Girls, Kereri Girls, Kisii School, Moi Gesusu High just to mention a few between 2002-2010 know this guy. He used to really entertain us during the high school basketball 🏀 competitions that were mostly held at Cardinal Otunga. I've really enjoyed watching this interview and I'm very happy for Getho a.k.a Kijana Msafi Interior Design 💪💪💪🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏
I really love that moment of Akothee... Enyewe huyu mtu ako na passion kwa kazi yake, he is fully invested in it yani hadi missing a job inauma even though he's already busy with other work, he already had plans for the job and the experience of it. Kijana msafi 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Kijana Msafi. I have followed him for many years, long before he was "rich". 😄😃One of the most hardworking human beings I know. Promoting products as Zangalewa, selling gas cylinders in Bamburi to a household name in the construction industry. Legend!
When God decides it's your time the process will be painful and let you have the scars so you can remember where he is taking u and when u their don't forget where u came from...i love how passionate he is ❤❤
..i think an interior designer should respect an architect because the latter defines the structure. It's up to the interior designer to inderstand what the super structure can hold or not. Not the other way round although all working as a team from Inception is best. For small projects, work with the existing super structure witbout imposing needless restructuring expenses. At the end of the day, if architect and site supervisor get the super structure wrong, no amount of interior design can prevent the looming collapse. Interiors can be done and redone as long as they leave the integrity of the structure alone.
What an inspiration to begin the year with.. creativity and passion does not expire even if copied by many people..Don't be afraid to think ..great opportunities out there.. Good work Lynn ❤❤❤❤
Lynn, thanks for this episode,i have worked with Gabriel, and the best and most important thing i can say.this guy is honest and very committed to his work.kweli ni kijana msafi.
Gabu was my promo supervisor years back sikui kama ana inanikumbuka hizi promo za supermarket na kuzunguka which don't pay well but he had a vision he was organized and a good leader,Seeing him here today makes me happy indeed hardwork pays he build his brand from scratch.
Congratulations Bro👏. Beauty and elegance is the definition of your projects. Creativity is not taught in class, but it will put food on the table when people finally recognizes it. Ongeri is brilliant, passionate, and a fast learner. A man's gift will make room for him to sit at the table of kings.
He was that student who was known by everyone in school, even other workers. Congratulations, my schoolmate.(Ghetto)One day, I will give you a contract, watching from Australia 🇦🇺.
This Interview was just EPIC I felt his love and genuine energy in his work. A man/woman who fears poverty is wired differently there’s no way you loose focus. Striving and consistency is KEY. Madam Boss I felt this man’s passion to working with you. You are a legend that he was devastated to have missed the opportunity. This young man has also shown us that it is okey to have emotions on a missed opportunity, I respect YOU👏. That really got me offguard. Yours will come and it’s just the beginning of working with all the Prominent people in KENYA and all over🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏may you be blessed 🙏🙏. Keep up the fire burning 🔥
Well done for making the most of what you have. Education certainly opens doors but its not the end if you don't have. Your own "education" (Different from formal classroom) is the best. Some of the most successful entrepreneurs could not read or write or learned later in life. Your "Papers" are your visible work.
😂😂 this one reminds me how i lost 2M in a cctv installation gig. I showed up in my loud Subaru, the boss was like, when i grow up i need to find him. 😅 enyewe life
The papers we fight for were created by people who were initially gifted whout papers by God. They then decided not to give the same knowlege freely hence school, certificates , , degrees and phd. Imagine everyone is gifted. We lack to realize it because we never ask God what is our talent. We therefore end up pursuing other peoples talents because we think they have money.
He was a comical and great cheerleader back in high school. Interestingly most people never knew his actual names during their entire stay in school. He went by the names "Ghetto". Good stuff from him!
Failing is not an option, option is to bear with the situation, work hard, determination, being positive, thank you Lynn and the team, may God bless you so much, more graces❤💕💞
I like his enthusiasm and dedication on his work. Really its not about the papers but what you can deliver. We have people with good papers but they never deliver
Kenya is growing like middle east countries i love what am seeing bora pesa ziko ready although it's need to be somehow affordable to every mwanaichi like other countries for them to live good
Kijana msafi, your tears are never in vain. Through your story to Lynn, you're such a hard worker. Keep going. People will come looking for you for those interior designs, including me!
Kijana msafi... miaka Mia sita hamsini 😂😂😂 nilikuona last week nikasema nakupatia kazi next month but hivi sasa umefika hapa kwenye kiti cha enzi I know I can't afford you anymore... 😂😂😂 but all the best my dear I love your job na zile cheche unakuanga nazo ukifanya house tour😂😂😂can't get enough of it u make someone stick on the TV akicheka tu.
Very inspiring. I'm always amazed that people are able to share the story of their success with the world. I would be really scared of inviting envy and jealousy and sometimes even witchcraft from people. I applaud the brave ones 👏
He mentioned a very important point. You must look the part. Make the effort. Unfortunately we humans judge a book by its cover. First impressions matter a lot in closing a deal. You cannot be asking for a multi-million business deal if you look like just a couple of hundreds worth from your attire to your demenour to your ride. You must look like a multi million, else it will go to someone else. Skills alone don't count. Hire a car if you may. Hire attire or loan from a friend if you do not have, but look and speak the part, then put your money where your mouth is. He lost a 20m deal because of turning up on a bicycle. He did not prepare. He did not look the part. The good thing is he learned.
