The reason why there’s usually lots on clearance is as we put things on clearance if it’s been on the shop floor for 6 weeks to get rid of the stock so we can put more on the bay x
We got the BH Cosmetics highlighter palettes in our TK Maxx. I bought one of each. They are gorgeous. Then we got a bunch of eyeshadow palettes. Models Own unexpectedly went bust last year, out of the blue, so now all their stuff is in TK Maxx. The eye pencils are bomb.
I once found a gorgeous pair of Marni shoes in tk max that were nearly 900 pounds and got them for 80. Beautiful dark green and black onix patent peep toe wedges with crossed front and ankle fastening, still adore them to this day.
TK Maxx is honestly my fave store! I've found loads of skincare stuff and most of those boxes are wrapped so I know for sure no one's messed with it. Best find was when I found a HUGE limited edition bottle of Dolce and Gabbana The One perfume. Instead of being £80 I got it for £40. Bargain.
I think on the phone closeups it looked pretty gross around the nose- you can see where it’s clumping around the nostril and where it’s lifted slightly off the top of the cheek- and when you have filler in your cheek you don’t have all that texture that it gave her! I too hate it if it doesn’t blend seamlessly into my skin and if there is even slight cakeyness I’ll take it off aswell! But some people are okay with a visible layer and that’s okay too- just not how everyone likes their makeup looking!! XX
I literally started looking at their beauty section because of you and I've managed to get a few stila magnificent metal liquid eyeshadows, an abh mini lip set and more like sometimes it's amazing!

Theyve had some really good stuff in TKMaxx lately, I picked up a few ABH things. I got the foundation too, but I really like it, it was also a perfect shade match!! I have quite oliy skin and I like matte foundation so maybe thats why I like it?? But I agree it drags, its quite a dry formula! I tested it in a recent video too!

You're lucky, everytime i go in tkmaxxx all they have is a clearance section, and all the makeup is seriously trashed!!! :( think I'll stick to superdrug...

I have basically half of my makeup from tkmax. Unfortunately couple of months ago I bought that anastasia foundation and is not good at all! But recently I've bought two lancome foundations that are absolutely amazing and believe it or not a Charlotte Tilbury foundation (well is more like a tinted glowing moisturiser) but amazing for a no make up day.
I feel you..I picked up an ABH foundation stick from my TJ and I was so excited and determined to love it. Horrendous. I'd try again in darker shades as a contour- I'd never pay full $ but I think im just fooling myself ha. Any oils under my foundation always breaks down and separates my foundation into a gross mess.
Omg got the same foundation and Becca pallet last week. I actually like ABH foundation, tend to apply it with a damp beauty blender. Also found ABH liquid highligher in TK Maxx which I loooove

I used to buy Hard Candy makeup, must be over 20 years ago now!! At the time it was fun makeup that was very different to everything else available and it was quite expensive. The Shu Uemura shop in Amsterdam used to stock it. Can't believe how cheap it is now!!
I’m so bloody jealous lol my town is so crap like my primark is tiny and doesn’t stock the things like in a bigger store. And I check my tk max all the time and never find any decent makeup🙄and finally my Aldi lol I can never find makeup or skin care in there. But this look is gorg I love the blues and greens on you. Guess the best I got there were the ABH Prism and Subculture and the Illamasqua makeup sets, not been in TKMaxx lately but guess I'll have to go there cause I've been thinking in guetting that palette since it lauched a few months ago =D Maybe I get lucky ;-) Thanks for the video Steph!! xx

I was pleasantly surprised by the Mophe palette, will have to have a closer look at them. Even full price they're not too expensive. The BFF had those Becca glow letters. Her take on them was 'naff' as well. I have and love the BeccaxMalika lipstick💄though. Think I'm on my 3rd one:-)
I saw those letter highlighters & thought it looked cheap packaging & hardly any letters inside so didn't bother with those. Could have picked up the Becca palette but thought it was still to much money for my pocket, got the Becca lippy & really liked it, I'm normally a die hard matte lippy fan and picked up my first BH cosmetics eyeshadow palette for £6, I'm so impressed with it x

Finding a benefit palette for about one third of the price last time I had a rummage cheered me up for the whole rest of the week 😂 - also v good for skin care bargains, all you have to do is look out for the correct active ingredients for what you want your skincare to do, in my case I need Vit C and Retin A - had a fab haul of those last time. Now I feel another raid coming on, before I get Christmas-shamed when I buy for myself! (By my conscience lol). Thank you for vid, v informative.
I always go online in the morning and check new in -woman’s and then beauty. There are a load of high end brands that you won’t get in the store. I also search for the brands I’ve seen before like benefit or too faced, Chanel, nars etc. It only takes me five mins a day but I’ve got loads of great 👍 brands that I’ve never seen in my store. I get them delivered to my store for £1.99 on click and collect 😀
