well all i can say is it is what life is someone who is a topper in class might not be a topper in life but i have seen many many examples of average to below average students who did extraordinarily well in competitive exams..
Absolutely. Indian academia is not designed to “select” candidates, but rather “reject” candidates. It’s crazy that your performance in one exam can set your entire life’s trajectory - while everything that you have done till then does not matter.
@@ShiveeTalkswell I am really happy for you But let me say Even if you didn’t get into iit’s as you say your total marks were at par with AIR 1300 which is considered top rank in a country then I think ur iq is at par with jee top rankers even if miss the physics cutoff , also to achieve 1300 rank without physics u need a very strong mathematics and mathematics is a subject that requires iq and practise (Even my maths teacher says that) …. Which implies that u were in top 100 in jee advanced mathematics all over India U say u have done ur degree in a very prestigious private university well the thing is at the end of the wherever end up u would end up in the same place because u smart enough for it ……… My sister is for example she used to study in 11th , 12th and dropper , she started to study form drop year 12-14 hrs a days and still she couldn’t clear jee mains cutoff( 90 marks ) , and my parents had so much expectations that she would land up in iit CSE And the fact is even I fall into that category and my parents have no expectations with me because they for the fact that ki me 7 hrs bhi nahi padh pata phir bhi mujhe bolte bass thik thak rank lade Bata …. My is jee is in 2025 Abhi hi I am saying jee mains nikal jaye , even at the start of class 11th I have no interest in getting iit Bombay , Delhi or Kanpur , nothing I just wanted to clear jee mains with rank 7,000-10,000 guess what happened I ruined my class11th completely And my target was jee mains from the start still failed ..now my target 25000 rank in jee mains ( also i had no interest in studies in pcm because lack of talent i had to choose pcm )(please yeh joke mat banana talent Iss me bhi nhi hai😢😢) What I am trying to say is if let’s say u ended up in a college say x and even if u ended up in a worse college than x u may would have been in the same position because u were simply smart enough … I Would literally die to be like you Sound cringey but true people say that u don’t need iit to be successful but u need iq also ….. Also u would never see a average or an below average student who ended up in bad college is able to earn a lot money And if u trying to give me example of Satya Nadella his iq is 150+ And the rest of the people who are successful and has mid iq end up doing everything except engineering But still I aspire to become 50 percent as good of a successful IITian or PEOPLE LIKE U ……
It was a HUGE mistake - I solved 100s of question papers right before the test. I would see how did I score and move on to the next. Ideally, you want to solve a lot of question papers, see your mistakes, and re-do the same test (in half the time) to check your recollection of the mistakes.
