The most easy thing for us to notice it fake or real is, from slight gestures, uncanny feelings, and expression. There is a tiny frames that not should be in there in most fake videos, eventhought you didn't know the person you still can notice it. The problem is that we are the one who are adjusting to these fakes, it still can be bad for short and quick clips. It means that we are the ones with the new wiring system in our brain to call it "It looks normals". For the Editor, you could have more advantages by faking him using unknown people from the internet.

The Jordan Peterson one is not deepfaked at all. L on the editor. It's from 2 different JRE appearences, with one of them being inverted to make it look like he's on the opposite end on the table. All the dialogue is real, too, it's just cut up out of context for comedic effect. The "deep" part of deepfake stands for "deep learning." In other words, if it's standard video editing, and isn't using any neural networks, then it's not a deepfake.

Do movie scenes with greenscreen and CGI count as 'real' or 'fake' for the purpose of this?...
