Hey man, you can do it. In late december I spoke to a doctor about something unrelated and he made a note that Im very overweight. So far I have lost 2 stone since christmas. I have been a patreon supporter for about a year last year, and attended most streams. I believe you can do it. YOU CAN DO IT.

I say this sincerely, this is something I learned from someone very influential to me "Winners are not people who never fail, but people who never quit." So long as you don't quit and give up eventually you will succeed.

It does make me sad, seeing people go through these things in general. Especially considering many things you described I've been going through for a long time as well. After I was diagnosed with my physical illness everything has been going in a downwards spiral. The last couple of years being very rough on my mental health too (which in turn affects my physical well-being). Loneliness, social anxiety and isolation, lacking motivation to do anything, even suicidal ideation. Since a couple of months I've been visiting multiple health experts on my situation. Can't say I feel any better (or care for that matter). Like you said the struggle is hard and a part of you just wants to "give up". I think that feeling is quite valid and genuine, and I believe nobody should tell you that you're not allowed to think like that. For me personally it's kinda off-putting how many people have good intentions yet tell you "you'll get over it". Like that's something valuable you need to hear when feeling the way you feel. Even if they have gone through something similar, we all experience things differently. Too often people judge a person or a situation by its cover, thinking they know best. Being that direct with a person shows a lack of understanding in my opinion. My apologies for my own ramblings. I honestly wish you the best my friend, hoping you will find a way to deal with your suffering. Perhaps even find meaning in what you're going through. Thank you for continuously being so open with your audience. Even though I barely speak up these days, know that I'm still thoroughly enjoying your content and still admire you as the person I've come to know.

No need to apologise my friend, I'm glad that you've at least tried to get help and I agree with what you say, it's alright to not be ok, pretending otherwise is disingenuous. I hope things get better for you, I do miss seeing your comments but I understand why you prefer to lurk.

You have not failed! Life & weightloss is not easy when things are going smoothly. You have had the added stress of a breakup, new job, a move, depression, busy schedule, publicly airing your issues with the stress of expectations, & late nights. With little or no time, I am sure you must go to easier foods or comfort foods often, which are generally not so good. Everyone has the ups and downs - it is so hard to change your way of life completely 24/7, month after month. Not failure, just moving on with your updated goals - focus on daily goals and quality of life dude :) You will get where you want when it is the right time for you as long as you keep motivated for the end game. You can do this :) and you will find happiness again. Hugz from Canada

You've had a tough few months there. And if what you need is some moral support while you sort stuff out... well. This is something we can provide. You've got this! And we've got your back.

Hey Simon I have been a sub since clone wars started and I can tell you that you are my favourite RU-vidr, because you aren't putting on a show not being fake. Just telling us how it is and being real with us. If you think that you can't make a vid one day cause how you feel, don't take a day off..we will be here when you feel ready😊

Don't look at as failing, just a setback. Staying positive is key, even during the lows. Keep on keeping on Simon!

Do not lose hope, dude. Don't say you've failed. You just found a way that doesn't go with you so you must keep trying. Sometimes we need someone to hold us accountable so do not be afraid of getting professional help. I lost 50 pounds in 3 months

You haven't failed, you just stumbled. Get back up and keep moving. Take a vacation from the channel for a couple months while you get back in shape.

Depression is hard, and the worst part was always not caring about anything. I’d recommend trying to think about the positives in your life, get out some, and consider changing your daily routine just to avoid getting into a lull.

Simon, I'd encourage you to try to look at all this as tuition in the school of life. Sometimes we have to pay a heavy price, but we can learn lessons that are so valuable from it. I'm impressed at your self-recognition. You should see that as positive. Think how many people don't recognize it. We need you around for all 38 seasons of Agents of Shield. You know you can succeed at losing weight, you've done it before. Be proud of what you've accomplished. Know that you can and will achieve those things you set your mind to. I wish you all the best and hope that you can find balance between work and home life(including good meals) and your channel.

Hey Simon, you've got this man! I know its hard. I've also been going through depression and negativity for the last few months. All I can say is that don't lose hope. Stay positive and focus on all of the good things in your life. Its good that you're open about this and talking always helps. I've followed your channel for a while and don't usually comment but just had to say this! Keep moving forward!

Hey Simon. I'm pretty new to your channel. Stumbled across you when you started doing Arrow. So I did not know about your backstory (went and watched the video from a few months ago to be informed). I know it probably doesnt seem like it every day, but the fact you are pushing through is a good start. A lot of people have trouble even getting over that step. As for the weight gain. Try starting small. 5-10 mins of light exercise 3 times a week. Its not a huge time commitment, and it will get you going. Even after a long day of tiring work, you can eek out 5 mins. You might not want to, but you can do it. After 2-3-4 weeks or so, push it to 10-15 mins, or up it to 4 or 5 times a week of 5-10 mins. Then just slowly work up to a level where you feel you can do it, and maintain the schedule.... and if you fall off it a bit. Just take a big sigh, collect your thoughts, and start again. My friend who has battled weight gain for most of the time I have known them just got under 200 lbs for the first time, they were up over 245 when they first started trying to lose it. Its been a 3+ year journey getting there, with several stop & re-starts. So be patient.

Hey Simon, 5 Weeks ago i started the Keto diet as well. It's been a very tough 5 weeks but have lost almost 10kg. I mainly started the diet due to you and the progress you had made. Maybe you won't get back to it maybe you will. Time doesn't help only your own strength can. I haven't been through any heartbreak but my family and stuff has been pretty messed up for the past couple of years along with not having a job. What i find helped me was to make a plan and stick to it no matter what. Maybe a holiday to a nice hot country or some sort of trip might help. Either way it not an easy journey. If you want to talk message me on twitter @TGMapDesigner .

Maybe do a vlog of you doing something that makes you happy And uploaded that! Make a PO Box so your fans can send you encouragement. Even if it's just some hand-drawn art or letters or cards from your fans just little things that you can post up everywhere to remind yourself that someone out there does care about you. That the opinion of the person that hurt you doesn't matter against all the people that DO Care. :D I think doing a livestream to celebrate 20,000 subscribers would be really good . not just to have fan interaction. But so that you can focus on doing something you enjoy. I don't know how much you play Pokemon go but getting involved with the Pokemon go community in your area might be helpful. At least going out for Community Days and interacting with other Pokemon fans could be really good for you it would also be a great way to grow the channel. Doing meetups and things like that. You got your world rocked by someone you cared about and trusted. Taking time to recover from that is not anything to be ashamed of. Sounds like you're on the upswing though looking at improving your health getting back to your routine being optimistic about your future these are all good things. Though I've never been diagnosed a lot of people in my life who have been in the medical field agree that I'm clinically depressed. It's taken me oh by the time I graduated will of taking me there 12 or 13 years to get my double bachelors in sociology and anthropology. I have never let my depression stop me. Taking a little time for self-care and rebound after major trauma is only the healthy thing to do for yourself. You're looking forward to living into your sixties you're looking forward to making something of yourself. You're able to enjoy the work you do. Those are fundamental Milestones to overcoming short-term non chronic depression. You're absolutely right that at 30 it's a good idea to really do everything you can to get a handle on your health. You can do it your subscribers care, we are here for you dude. :D ONWARD TO THE NEXT CHAPTER!!!!🍀🌠 You are only ever beaten, when you stop trying.

It doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down, it only matters that you get back up. You have plenty of online supporters, so maybe you need a diet buddy, so you can check each other. Zonked? Wouldn't that be knackered in England?
