the only reason the divide on "women" and "men" came when people stopped seeing them both as equal human... you just show that you clearly see women as equal human and that's why you aren't threatened by this message !!! everyone is suffering in our current society because they cant. love to see that for you! hope we all keep growing to our best selves! Would love to see this song in concert! So grand in both the musical and visual parts that it would be awesome! Glad they keep coming out with these messages about female empowerment because not just women, but everyone who sees the issues, is fed up. The industry definitely needs to change but so does society and people aren't going to ignore it anymore. Also, can definitely tell you've had strong female influence in your life by your grasp on how important this is for everyone
soyeon is athena, and minnie is medusa so yes ,greek mythology, but miyeon is cleopatra, yuqi is cruella and shuhua is marie antoniette. so powerful ladies basically.
My theory is: According to some people since this is their 5th year anniversary, this song has many throwbacks to their previous comebacks. Soyeon's scorpion (HANN), Minnie's shield (LION or it could be the AEGIS SHIELD which was used to kill medusa), shuhua's cake (TOMBOY - Soyeon's infamous rap scene) and Miyeon's scene is extremely similar to the one in OH MY GOD. Also, Soyeon also mentions I NEVER DIE in the lyrics. The statue on which soyeon is standing during her rap part is probably ATHENA (a very famous goddess in Greek mythology and the on ewho gave the aegis shield).
