So this is my audition video for Rising Darkness Studios. I'd actually been working on this before I heard about the auditions, and I thought it'd be the perfect video! If I get in, I'd love to host an MEP with this song. I've seen a great live action collab, put together by BlacksGoddaughter, which was my inspiration for this video.
I tried a couple of new tricks. I'm glad I kept the pace and quick transitions, but I'm not a fan of the tv effect here. Really proud of my colouring though! Let me know your thoughts! :D

whole crapload better then my audition video, I can't wait to have you as part of the team if you get accepted, I can already tell that you will be able to contribute a lot to our mep's. I love the red that you used, it just makes the villains look so much more like 'MONSTERS', okay I was trying really hard to work the name of the song in there but I am off by one letter. Great job!

@shayybugg215 Um John Silver IS the villain. The 'villian' of a story is the main character who greatly effects the hero and its world in a negative way. Scroop was just a side villain. :)

@Fathreena Hi there! I did it using the gradient map on Sony Vegas I think. You select three points, one black, one white and one red - I THINK. It was a while ago since I made this. If you have problems I can figure it out again and get you a brief tutorial :)

This is a great video and the coloring IS awesome....I just don't like the choice of adding Danahi...he wasn't bad enought to be in this song I don't think...but this is a great video! Good job!

Good music, good clips, good use of clips, bad effect. Next time, lay down effect. They are good, yes, but constant flashing and constant black-red tinted colors make it near impossible to figure out what's going on.

Does Silver really deserve to be labelled as a villain? I've been wondering about that a lot lately. I mean, he doesn't really strike me as villainous, all things considered. He's just... complicated. Scroop, on the other hand: pure evil.
