Yeah Bo Horvat is a player for the hockey team of NL's city, Vancouver. NL switched the first letters around to make his steam name "ho borvat" (he used to change it quite a bit, from Isek baby to Miss Plays etc) and for whatever reason it just stuck around

Defect is the hardest character so at least you have that going for you :p

I think my Bottled Card was a reboot, as I didn't know if I was willing to use up a seek on turn 1 every fight. Seek+ at best turns a dead hand into 3 cards, or 5 with Seek+ into Seek+ (with dead branch) Reboot is weaker whenever you start with a good opening hand, but if your oppening hand is horrendous, I'd prefer Reboot. Also, Seek+ on later turns, allows me to combo off, while a Reboot on later turns gets me a bunch of junk out of my discard pile and into my draw pile.

If I have a dead hand turn 1 against an enemy with a strong turn 1, getting to pick any two cards (assuming no double Seeks here, with Seek+ for Seek+ it gets even sillier) seems *much* better than getting another random 5 card hand. Bottled Reboot makes it less likely you lose your run to a bad turn 1 opening hand. Bottled Seek removes the possibility of losing your run to a bad opening hand.

@@Math.Bandit Well, my worst hand from yesterday was double normality, curses and a reboot. It's not even like spending one mana exhausting most of your curses turn 1, dealing 35-49 damage, and generating a completely new hand with dead branch is all that preferable to a random hand from the deck. Or spending two mana, dealing 35-42 damage, exhausting 5 out of 7 curses having a hand of 6 randomly generated cards, and gaining 15 block was that great of an option either. Or a hand of 10 cards one of them randomly generated 5 curses two cards of your choice, two at random from your deck, and 5 energy that you can't spend due to normality, gaining 6 block, losing 16 HP and taking 41 damage seems that nice either. I'm trying to come up with a good start from Seek+, other than seeking for Reboot, or a card to help you exhaust your hand. Seek+ into 37 Block - 5 hp, take 10 damage, and lose the perfect wouldn't've been that good either. Actually, if I had a Corruption+ in my deck, so I could guarantee a Seek+ into Corruption+ and Fiend Fire, I would've bottled Seek+. (As that's on average better than drawing a new hand.) Actually, I should've bottled my Seek+, then gone for that. But still, I ended up winning the run with bottled Reboot, I would've probably won by bottling Seek+ then fetching Reboot as well.

@@mawillix2018 yeah I think both strategies work but you could always seek+ into a good setup card as well as a reboot whenever needed. I understand your argument that you don’t wanna purge a seek turn one but I think since it’s malleable to create a better turn one I think it all evens out in the end

@@MicoDossun I second your opinion on cutting normality. Also, it would've been fine for me to remove cards as I ended up with over 70 of them.
