Raducanu thinks she is much better than she actually is. Currently ranked #72, been through 5 coaches in 2 years, and lost in the first round at the 2024 US Open.
Nobody said that he or she hates the girl. Those idiots keep posting the same stuff about her fake form & winning all the GS, but she has not won any sh!!!.
top ten players from 2021: Barty, Sabalenka, Muguruza, Pliskova, Klejcikova, Sakkari, Kontaveit, Badosa, Swiatek, Jabeur. All ten played in 2021 us open. After looking it up im actually a little suprised that you were literally 100 percent wrong - I thought at least 1 of them wouldnt have played.
Emma doesn't 'do" qualies (though the 4 grand slams winner Osaka doesn't think it beneath her and goes through with it). Grinding it out competitively to collect points which is the standard for all pro players Emma doesn't follow, instead she has her people to fight for wild cards. One can call it "confidence' thought most don't, hence the low regard for her. After a few years when her highly lucrative sponsorships expire, I am interested to know if she will be in the position to receive more offers.
In the far east recently it was announced that sponsors are renegotiating their deals or leaving her altogether. As regards to wealth we were told she was to become a billionaire and has failed abysmally. Her wealth is miniscule compared to the other players and she won't be the first sports person to go bankrupt.
I think these people that made negative comments on this site are more than likely weak in their own lives. I think you’re brilliant for such a young person, makes me proud to be British to have a wonderful young person like you representing our Great country. Thank you for that wonderful smile. Love the way you won the US open and the tour you did of Wall Street was so interesting.
We've got your back Emma, all the way! 👍❤ Sometimes I think the voices of the reporters are deliberately muffled so we can't hear their childish questions... to protect them from our criticism!
Sorry, which question was childish? Can you either quote it or put the timestamp in? And it's not that they speak quietly, it's down to the difference in volume of something called a microphone
If women player think they can play 1/4 schedule win US Open or grand slam, it not a realistic expectation, although Emma living proof, it happen. This gonna be a 'knock' on WTA 2020's. But it a transition time. Much less likely happen now, with a few player and more, with solid play, and desire to peak during 2 week event. Emma a winning personality, but if it just create 'delusional' in tennis player, who no have it, it was a double edge sword, what happen in 2021. This why there a LOCK on WTA trophies for most decade, since 60's.
I think Emma is thoughtful and tries to be authentic in her responses. She gets picked apart for giving them the time of day, but shes just living her life and making decisions that make the most sense for her game and herself. She doesnt always have the exact "right" words to please some peoples idea of what she's "supposed" to say. Shes not saying anything rude or even controversial. Good to see her looking more genuinely calm and happy now.
You are the one with the same old nasty cheap hilarious and unbelievable vile insulting comments. What have you achieved in your obvious sad and miserable life @@sciencekid7565
For those of you wondering why Emma is so disliked (mainly by white middle age men), it is due to a number of reasons: - She was born to rich parents, with a privileged upbringing - She's a grade A student who would have been wealthy even if she wasn't a tennis player - She's wealthy beyond belief, and set for life, mainly because of just one flash-in-the-pan tournament win - She's got marketing deals left, right and centre, more because of her mixed heritage and good looks, rather than for her tennis - She's overhyped by the media, when in reality she's just a good player, but not great These are just a few reasons why Emma is disliked. She's hit the jackpot at such a young age, and I guess a lot of the resentment is because she hasn't really had to work for it. She's set for life at just 21, and that really annoys a lot of people. A lot of people do not feel she's earnt it - it's like she was just blessed. These are not my thoughts, by the way, I'm just explaining why she gets so much dislike. Don't shoot the messenger.
Her "hype" is utterly incongruent with her impact on the sport of Tennis and people who follow the sport aren't stupid. Even "white, middle age men" can be lavish with their praise when there's ample providence and sporting prowess to justify it. But "participation" trophies will never be enough to induce any kind of undeserved "standing ovation" from people who respect how good elite sports-people really need to be to earn public admiration, and who deserve absolutely EVERYTHING that goes with this.
Much of the dislike also comes from her decision making. She's picking and choosing what tournaments to enter at such a tender age, with a reluctance to enter qualifying. She is granted this freedom because of her US Open win which propelled her status in the sport. You would expect this sort of decision-making from a seasoned player in his or her 30s, who is "winding down" at the tail end of their career, not from a 21 year old who still has so much of the ladder to climb! Because of these decisions, she's now widely viewed as someone who either thinks of herself as "too good" to pay qualifiers, or some who is still resting on the laurels of her US Open win. Either way, it's not an endearing look. I, as a tennis fan, only like to judge her on her actual tennis. And in my view, she's a good player, solid in most areas of the game, but she's not outstanding (yet). She has a very good platform to work off, but she needs to play matches in order to improve, and develop her game. To establish herself in the top 20, she needs to play, play, play! The more matches she plays, the better and more developed a player she'll become.
Can you imagine the internet and tennis journalists ever having an impact on such a well adjusted champion 😅. She’s unfazed, she’s greatful, she’s a champion, NOTHING can or will ever take that away from her, even the bots 🤖 👊🏻😂❤️👏🏻
People who achieve legendary things in sport are never “old news”. Raducanu’s turning out to be utterly charmless. Andy Murray was one of the people who staunchly defended Raducanu when she was being labelled a quitter, which makes her arrogant and callous attitude towards him makes even more galling.
She didn't say that. Listen again to the whole context of the question and her answer...don't take the Andy in the beginning and end with the old news, not comprehending what she said in between those words. Learn to listen not criticize without the entire context
@@sciencekid7565 kiddo, how come Sloane blew a match, penko lost to a mom, Garcia 2022 wta champ lost, and 63 other players lost. Get a life. Covid was lifted in 2021. Tell me who didn't play in 2021? 2020 was the covid restrictions when only 2 slams were played. Hater
@@JustMe-jy5qk The liar pretended to injure & got free massage but still lost to Sun, remember?? Corrupted Wimbey gave her free pass when Alex & Saba pulled out, but her faking injuries didn’t help. Haha!
