I miss him, I lost two of my brothers within a year. I am so happy they both served the Lord. One was a minister. God is good. 💔He is the healer of broken hearts ♥️ great haul 💞

I have a small creamer and plate it sets in that they use to have on the passenger train restaurants. My Daddy retired from L&N railroad many years ago. I definitely would bought the 1976 calendar plate, as I graduated that year. I love finding Christmas items this time of year. Last week mine had very little but the week before they had several items.

I love Cracker Barrel. There’s one about 4 miles from my house. I have two favorite servers there. I use to stop there after my hostess job at Ruth’s Chris on either a Friday or Saturday night. Perfect place to unwind and of course all the antique pieces to look at. And I’ve been quilty on several occasions to hit the sale racks. I also enjoy your accompanying music. Ahhh pioneer woman salt and pepper shakers. I would have bought that vase near the end. That’s my esthetic. And I would have picked up the Santa plates but I’m short on room. I need a bigger house. Wahhhh

That game you picked up, "Sequence", is a fun and easy game to play for kids and adults. If you don't know about it, the board is comprised of playing cards and you get cards dealt to you and you have to cover the card on the board with a marker (poker chip) and try to make a line of 5. Kinda like Connect 5, Bingo and tic tac toe all rolled into one.

Love the pink chintz bowls and the decanter. I'm not completely sure what you purchased but the Santa plates were so pretty and I would taken the bench and harp table. You picked up what appeared to be a brass lamp without a shade and the wooden bottom of a cloche. I would have taken the wiring out of that particular lamp, used E6000 to marry the two to have a plant stand. The oval metal tray made me think of turkey feathers (not sure why) but very pretty. I would have thought about the gizzard basket, brocade box and the organizer tray too.

So many wonderful pieces. Where did you say in Texas? I have sweet friends in Waller, TX. I love the brass lamp. It’s beautiful with or without the shade. With me volunteering at our local Free Store, there’s so many treasures that come through all the time. I’ve found some really cute things. When I take something I really like, I bring stuff back to donate so I’m not overloading or hoarding. Plus I don’t want to be greedy. It’s been in the 80’s here in Michigan and I get very warm. It is crazy how different Goodwill is from state to state. Here in Delaware, all wood deco items are $2.99, all baskets $3.99, all metal items $3.99, all chairs $4.99 etc.

Julie, I dont know if I've told you or not, but I'm in a wheelchair also. I get out when I have someone to get my chair in and out of my car. I had polio at the age of 2. Can not walk. Anyway, enough about that. When I get out the first places I go are the Goodwills and salvation Armys. That's my delight. I'm like you I love to decorate my home with thrifted things. I also live by myself. My husband went home with the LORD 4 years ago this coming June.

So weird as I'm watching your video and you come across that brass lamp with the brass shade and as you took off the shade it had that glass milk white shade on it. I two days ago came across that exact lamp but it was a floor lamp it was a tall one. It was heavy as heck fully brass and had the same little white shade on it that is such a trip.

I would call to see if it is still there. You never know. I have seen some of the same pictures in my Goodwill for months. One day I went and looked at prices. It was very reasonably priced. I think it was the size of the picture. Just a couple weeks ago, a lady came in and bought nearly every large sized picture they had in the store. Worker asked if she was staging a house. She said no, buying them for the frames. Love the Living Water pitcher and cups. Every caddy I find is always $5 or more. Still looking for reasonably priced one. Currently looking thru my house for things to decorate top of my fridge. Need something tall and not finding much. Did find a box that I might use in back for some height to set something on. Kinda like thrifting at my own house. haha!

When you picked up the bowls with the rose pattern I was thinking I felt like I'd seen someone else look at those in another video I had watched. Later when you mentioned Danielle getting the pumpkin pie plate and the calendar plate I knew that was it. I liked SO many things you looked at that I lost track. I'm glad you got that nice copper tray with the brass handles. I really liked the geranium picture too and would probably have bought that. I shouldn't even look at the art, but I can't help myself, even though I already have WAY too many pictures! I would not have bought them, but I liked the canister set with the pigs on the lids. I would have bought the gingerbread set. That is my biggest weakness.

That first brass candlestick looks like a weapon from a crime drama!---I took my airpot in the car filled with ice cubes and water for our drive to North Dakota. My (just turned) 90 y/o Mother has been drinking more water than coffee lately, and that ice water stays cold for a l-o-n-g time! Unfortunately, on the day before we left to return to California, when I put the ice cubes in, the glass liner exploded. Because the unit is self-contained, there was no debris. So, I was lucky enough to find another on our last day there, when I was able to hit the 2 thrift stores in town.---That glazed frog was sure ugly cute!

Im amazed how good the prices are. In Australia everything at the charity shops is very expensive. I still shop but we just don't get items for $1 to $3. I bought a brass item today it was $18.
