I think we all have had a day/night when we feel like nobody gets us. That the pain we hide from the world is going to leak out. That others may see that pain and judge us. So we hide it away. This song to me expresses that feeling, the pain that keeps us from resting, from feeling good, from being happy. Tom is an amazing artists. His music makes us “FEEL” Artofkick you truly are great. Man, i feel like a lot of what Tom does is relatable. I know what it's like being in that headspace, what it's like not knowing where to go, almost being taken over by my inner demons. I'm an empath, i felt this song. I relate to it. Sometimes my depression gets the better of me. and sometimes i feel like Tom and I are on the same wavelengths.

It was a great song but I relate to i don't drink a bit more. Me and my dad joke about how I'm a functioning alcoholic all the time but its nothing to brag about at all, i will say that the quarantine has helped out on that, down from a steady twelve pack a day to about 6 to 9 a day. I know it really ain't that much of a difference, but its a start.
