Jack dude i made a tiktok last week .....uploaded 12 quality videos in a week and got almost 3M total views , 10K followers ...... the last two days i had low amount of followers like i felt my content is being showed to the same people who watch me what do u think bro
As someone with multiple insta accounts with over 100k, this is all very true - at least in my own experience. Posting 24 posts a day is WAY more effective as opposed to taking a few days to make one really high quality post. RU-vid is WAY better for reaping the benefits of quality over quantity. Awesome video!
I agree, but I do find if your content has value it will blow up. That happened to me. A new account, hardly any followers and I posted some writing from the heart and the likes wouldn't stop for days. But I did nothing special. I also used hash tags LOL. But I still believe quality will eventually be recognized ❤️
my close friend worked for one of the biggest ad agencies. they completely exploit users. they purposefully change the algorithm and content to invoke emotions in someone..to get them to buy icecream or do other things. it's all about money and we are the product.
you’re gonna be the biggest channel but yo know that. You create content with the kind of confidence of like major major major studios/creators. It’s only a matter of Time
Haven't seen a better edited and informative video in a long time, even the Skillshare pitch was amazing. Great job dude, I'm sure your channel will explode one day, you're already doing an amazing job! Best of luck!
You are not that same... Every time i upload my video feels horrible to see the views i get whereas some cringe contents get soo many attentions. I am an editor too, i can feel it.
Agreed. It seems like social media websites, especially Instagram, is focused more on duckface and nudity, filter, heavy makeup posts. Really bad for people’s mental health. They should focus on stuff that are interesting, people who have talent or a skill, or have an actual story to share, spreading awareness on issues. My mental health is still average and neutral, but it’s just annoying.
i get that. im an artist and animator, and it also sucks watching my hardwork towards drawings become a waste with 0 feedback. its demotivating to say the least, and makes me blame myself as if my art isnt good enough- however, thats not the case. the case is the social media im using isnt being used the proper way in order to reach engagement :(
Jack you are super smart. Great editing skills and put so much time and effort into these videos to inform people. It’s really interesting to here what you have to say. Keep it up!
Great video man! I Loved the fact that you used the numbers to back up your statements. This was much needed for me as I was wondering why / how Instagram changed. I’m definitely going to try a different approach after watching this. Subscribed!
"Instagram will be the first to die out".. you said it first.. and I'm in full support of that opinion, because as a social media manager, I share the opinion.
Jack - amazing work on your videos, they are so entertaining and informative. TBH I've never been able to watch these sort of videos for more than 2 minutes !! Keep it up..
Brilliant video! I loved the comparisons with the lake and was so suprised at what you told us about the performance of videos without hashtags on reels
You are on ❤️🔥 my dear. So young and so brilliant. Thank you for making me feel less incompetent in promoting my art on Instagram. Now I know why I have barely any traffic. I wish I could have you as my promoter. Sending you a big hug. May you succeed in all your endeavours in a New 2022 year and most importantly may you stay healthy and loved. ❤️
this is such a Gen Z perspective, i think we're in the post instagram age, that's why there are no longer viral Instagrammers, like there were 3-4 years ago
dude your video just absolutely blew me away. Came for the information but stayed, liked and subscribed for absolutely amazing performance and entertainment!
Such underrated youtuber, can't imagine the effort you put into the recording and editing of your videos, so high quality content, keep it up! Definitely earned new sub!
This is the first video I am watching from your channel and you are the first one to keep me hooked till the end. liked, subscribed and shared. keep posting. You are fun!
Jack, keep up this kind of content. I remember seeing some Ryan Trahan videos like 2 to 3 years ago, and it was clear that if he kept creating similar content his time would come. I have the exact same feeling watching your videos.
Earned a sub. Gotta say you're going to be huge. The way you explain things is great for all levels, the edits are great and I had a great time eating my burrito to this. Also happy to see the creative shots in various locations. Man, I wish I had started a long time ago.
this is a really good video, and i just wanted to add a little something to what you said at 6:10 , the mean calculation of the likes will ignore the survivor bias as there might be lesser pictures that have more likes without hashtags and that's why they made it past everything to your explore page and thus including the number of pictures that didn't have hashtags would help with kneading out this bias. I hope this makes sense.
