I have a question when you wash those towels you use do you wash them with your regular towels or just a load of towels with ink on them . I haven’t tried washing mine because I didn’t know if that ink would come off on my good towels

This was not at all boring Marion. It was wonderful! I love when you go off on another idea and try it right away! That’s exactly how new techniques are born!!! I rewatched this a second time and I thought the sprinkled ultra high gloss background you did would make beautiful die cut fall leaves with the layers of color and the speckled look in there! Simply gorgeous for leaves!!!

I think you might be getting your techniques mixed up. Your backgrounds are lovely, but not batik. I'm pretty sure Gina Kay has a video to do batik effect with wax paper, so that it gets all the crackle effect of batik.

My husband is originally from Sudbury Suffolk and he knows of Newton Green. He used to go past there on his way to Ipswich. It was a charming place, small and quiet! He is now in Maine. This is my home state. His mother is English and his father is from Maine, my husband has always felt like Maine was where he needed to be! I stumbled upon your content the other day while I was watching someone else on RU-vid. I left it running, and your video started playing. Hello from Suffolk! I have lived in Suffolk for nearly 6 years now and whilst I don’t Newton Green specifically I can vouch for the area! I am about 24 miles away but spend a fair amount of time around Lavenham etc which is close to Newton Green. Best move we made x

Just found your channel and subscribed - you are such a hoot. Lovely to hear your accent - were you born under the sound of Bow Bells? I was born in Surrey, lived in Bournemouth and Poole and then Guernsey before I came out to Oz. Suffolk is a beautiful County from memory. For the night sky, could you start with the chunky embossing powder first, then layer the blues over that?

Hi Marion I hope you are well. I remember doing Batik when I was at school many moons ago. I now have a Daughter & 2 beautiful daughters. We did batik on fabric using wax and dipping the fabric into dye. It was amazing. Julie. Cards to make for chsw. & the Mermaid Centre at Treliske where I, m under surveillance 4 five years to make sure the cancer does'nt come back. Juliex❤

I just realized I was going to use your links below the video to order them so you'd get credit! Arrrrghhhhhh! Dang it! And yes I stayed til the end! So many ways to heat emboss! My favorite I think was the very last one when you used the white tissue paper to dat on the embossing ink. I apologize for not using your link - my memory just isn't what it used to be - 71 is taking a toll on it. Thank goodness my bosses love me!

No pressure Marion ! I watch the Stampin up girl in the States and find their cheers Dottimes work well to watch live or reply’s . There is 4 of them ,one is simply simple Stampin ( Connie Stewart ) maybe looking at there times will help you sort what will work for you .
