You could use this product called “cold blue” it’s used in gunsmith it to keep barrels from rusting and you just soak the head in it for a bit. It leaves a darker finish on the metal but just an idea!

favorite putter of all time (still gaming it) is a vintage ping b60 copper. found it in a thrift shop for $4.44. added a winn midsize pistol grip and tripled its cost. do not know how old it is, but it is old. no weights, no insert, but loads of feedback & feel. been using for almost 3 years now. enjoying your vids, especially this one to see if old clubs can be restored.

Hi Simon, you have polished that putter to a very high Finnish my friend it's such a good job, I can remember having a brass putter when I was a lad & it wasn't cool back in the 80s everyone wanted the new tech, but I wish I had it now to polish & put with it, thanks for all the great videos that you produce there all very informative, I've just this week bought some new r7irons + a burner driver & a Ody putter all for £200 I love your buying guide videos so much I gave myself a£200 pound challenge to buy some new clubs to play with, I'm not counting the£13 postage because I made a booboo I bought driver & putter Tuesday £6.50 postage golf bidder , & I've just ordered the irons now from golf bidder £6.50 it would of been 6.50 for all to come together 😹 I'm buying these clubs because I've never bought any clubs ever in my life my first set was my dad's Dunlop blades my second set was prosimon which I swapped for my Racer then ten years later I swapped them for a set of B52 jumbo bullets irons, but I did buy a Adidas stand bag & in 2014 I got hit by a car while I was crossing the road , I went head first through his windscreen & flew through the air 16 feet & snapped the ball joint off my left shoulder fractured eye socket bleed on the brain & 15 other broken bones & I haven't played golf since ,I started watching your videos on you tube & golf mates, Rick shield Danny Maude & Pete Finch & now I've got the bug again, I would love some lessons but I think you might be a bit to far for me to drive to & I'm Recovering from coroner virus🤣cheers for what your doing for all of us Simon👍🥵

Been using my odyssey white hot 2 ball centre shafted putter for 15 years absolutely love it, so comfortable using it. I think I'd struggle to game something else anytime soon.

I had a putter from sports direct for about 10 years and loved it, think it was a Wilson harmonised putter. I upgraded to a rife putter a few months back and suddenly I see why you should be fitted for a putter, it’s so much better lol

I still remember and like my 1980's, approx., Ping putter. Quit golf about 25+ years ago and sold the putter about 10 years ago. Took up golf with my wife about 2 years ago and had to buy a new putter. Wish I had kept the Ping putter. Thanks for the videos.

Simon, I too bought a dremel, and I ruined my sand wedge. Saying that, it will now rust up a treat! My fave putter is the ping answer I have to a friend, which he sold with his set, so this would be a treat. Looking forward to more refurbs! Keep up the good work!

Titleist Bullseye is my favourite ever putter, an oldschool pre-scotty. Simple and beautiful. Great job on the refurb, i have tried to refurb old clubs myself during the lockdown and know your pain. Would love to win the Scotty, never been able to afford a decent one!

Good job! I did a banged up square back a few years ago, custom paint job using enamel paints. Still looks good, hasn’t rusted. But doesn’t drain putts - so I must have forgotten something.

Nice job, my favorite putting is obviously a Scotty, I have the square back 2 with 20 gram weights and the newer pistolaro 2023 scotty grip put on it. Love it

My favorite ever putter has been the TaylorMade tm-180. It's the putter that I currently have in the bag and would only consider replacing for a scotty! Hope that dream can come true! Great video as always!

Favourite putter was the Ping Scottsdale Grayhavk. Loved the feel and adjustability.

Best putter ive ever used is an old Wilson blade putter that came in a start set when I was a kid. Still use it from time to time when I start having putting troubles.

I used to have exactly the same putter, in the same tattered condition. I regret getting rid of it now, I'd copy you and refurbish it as well. And those dots you left blank i'd do like a traffic light, Red, orange and green!

The best and only putter ive owned, Odyssey 2 ball v-line white ice! maybe this Scotty will be my new favourite! it looks lovely now, well done Simon keep up the great content. Cheers

My dad's old manganese ping anser, with a slot in the bottom, is my all time favorite. Made a ting sound when you hit the ball. That Scotty looks very similar to my current Rife Island Series Montserrat, which is my second favourite putter of all time!

My current Rife putter is by far my favorite, but I love the way that Scotty looks!

Odyssey two ball my first and very favorite putter got me back into golf this year.

My fav of all time was my old putter I played in high school. It was a STX mallet with the rubber face. No idea if it performed the best. But I loved the unique feel and the fact that nobody else had one.

Using a 2K automotive clear coat can be a good option for protecting your golf club putter head. I am using an older Spider that I picked up at a golf shop in their used clearance bin for 19$ca. A light spray of auto clear coat might preserve the finish, Simon.

Great video Simon. My first decent putter was a Scotty/Ping copy. Anyone from around the Glasgow area will remember the "John Mulgrew" copy. Not to mention the "Stolen from John Mulgrew" golf balls from his driving range.

Putter looks fantastic. There are plenty on clear lacquers that can be bought from builders merchants KOR, protecta coat and KBS dimond would all do and come in various finishes. Satin, matt, etc. My favourite putter has to the ping anser. Classic and stood the test of time. Great video simon as always.

Simon, I’ve been selling my dremel aided reconditioned clubs all fother mucking day would love me that Scotty Cameron putter. One thing that works is flat clear coat spray paint. I sent you pick of a Callaway copper wedge. $40 paid and will ship in the a.m.

My favourite putter is a 1960s Ping ABlade. Mostly because I've been playing for 20 years and it's the only putter I've ever used. Would be nice to try a modern one, and a Scotty Cameron would really make my year.

tumba line blade putter is my favorit. still use it after 15 year. love this stuff. So want to buy a very cheap old scrapy putter and try this myself
