I'm just dancing with my dagger when I got my dual blades swiping left and right while in demon mode and the monsters don't know what's going on anymore 😅

Dual blades are awesome, I've currently got a rising tide, burst, attack boost build, and my goodness does it absolutely shred

You can also use the special behind the monster. You'll deal damage to the head after the spin if it's a direct hit to their back

Hahaha you're welcome! I definitely get a lot of looks. There was a couple that walked by and the guy was like "What's on today's episode?" And I just smiled and said "Monster Hunter" and he was like "oh ok 😗" I think he was a little disarmed that I wasn't embarrassed haha.

How do you play horizontally? Is there an option? Or is it only available for iOS? Love the content bro

If you have a gyroscope on your phone you should just be able to start the fight and then turn your phone horizontal and it will do it automatically. 👌🏼

How have you performed Heavenly Blade Dance? I am in Demon Mode but unable to run it when I need...only accidentally

You have to press twice. Once to go into Demon Mode, then press the button again if the icon is full to then do the heavenly blade dance. Just make sure you're close to the monster or you can miss. If you miss the initial strike, you'll whiff the whole thing.

Good update maybe, could have been great if they let us use Zenny to buy box expansions. Niantic is still too greedy for me to consider this update good.

DB is awesome, sadly there's no para DB yet. I'm sticking with my G10 girros knife and bulldoze lots of monsters in my way.

Yeah they def buffed the 6+ star monsters after this update. Literally was able to kill them easily with Grade 5 gear sitting at around 450+ Attack power but now the minimum required for most 6 stars sits around 530...

@@eli2210 My guess is so that the pretty sizeable playerbase can experience a bit more of a "challenge". That or the devs implemented a rebalance ahead of the game awards expecting more players and thus needing all of us to experience true pain and agony lol

Seriously? No wonder I'm starting to get a warning that my power is lower than the recommended power for the monster I'm hunting. I have no problem with 5* rathalos before, now it says I'm weak like about 50+ points below the recommended.

I don’t have any 6 grade weapons I only have grade 5 and I can kill 6 star rathalos diablos and legiana with elemental builds

Bro I'm sorry. I filmed and edited this as fast as I possibly could, but with wilds dropping I wanted to do the breakdown first, this was done before that but didn't want to double post. I really try to be up to date but it's almost impossible because this isn't my full time thing. All I can do is try my best in the future. Like I still have my footage from the first Qualily quests, Texas Legiana, and Black Diablos, but things move so fast. I'm still going to post them, but I had to move past them literally because I was trying to keep up. This was only 1 1/2 days ago. I know with the age of the internet, everything feels like it should be instant, but filming and editing a full video like this takes time. This is a huge stress in my life right now haha.

The build in this is not optimized for Dual blades at all. I was just using my hammer build since I just got them. Check one of my recent videos for some good builds, but for Dual Blades you want to focus on burst, and then whatever element attack you want. If raw, then crit and wex.

Im still not happy with the event or lack of address community feedback with this update or any of their posts. Really hope the niantic dev team steps up, cuz the game IS fun but it feels like a chore a lot of the time now. I should clarify, when I say event I mean the thing they did for new players coming (which is great dont get me wrong) but that ignored all the players sticking with the game thru its growing pains. Its really hard to see the player base sticking around for much longer when the official events and socials are hyper focused on getting new players in with a turn and burn approach

Bro I fully agree. I was so hyped to watch the game awards and play an event in MHNow but I kept expectations low for it for obvious reasons and I was STILL disappointed lol. I felt exactly the same way like "Oh sick, make sure to get new players on board and show no love to existing players that already pay you money" They literally could have just made the rewards double for everyone like they did the week prior with the first two slots. OR they could have introduced a LURE mechanic to BRING monsters to you while you watch the game awards. Think of how sick that would have been. Like "Surprise! We know you're chilling and watching the event! Play from your couch!" Community sentiment would surely improve.
