Suggestion: You don't have to paint the entire console black you can paint its hardware black to match the black elements in the room and keep the console brown/ wood. The room might feel too dark if it has too much dark furniture esp if the room doesnt get a lot of sunlight. (Another tip: if you guys have resolve carpet cleaner in SA, try it out on your rug. It's 👌🏾 )

Hey Thandi, I mentioned this in one of your previous vlogs, most gas geysers use electricity or batteries to heat up the water and that might be why you don’t have hot water when the electricity is gone
