Fun fact: the Dungeon Mesi Ikebukuro cafe event used Crocodile Meat instead of beef. Therefore, you could say that Humans have been eating swamp dragons for quite some time now.
youre too underrated omg 🥹 ur voice is rlly nice and calming and your cooking also looks amazing! and the editing is very nice for a small channel!! here's to hoping you get more popular ^^
Thank you for the encouragement 🥹 I’m still not used to recording and hearing my own voice so I find it cringe but I’m really glad you actually like it 🥲 I’ll keep improving!
I've been trying to look for other cooking channel that does anime dishes, and happy to say I found you! You're SO funny and the dishes look AMAZING! Great camera and editing work too, plus love the witty texts on screen! Hoping you gain more subs, you deserve it!!!
Thank you!! I’m focusing on anime for now but I’ll definitely expand to video games too as the channel grows a bit bigger ^^ Any particular ones you have in mind?
@@isekaikitchen Well, I'm sure most JRPGs and adventure games will have some sort of cooking element. I'm currently playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which has a ton of recipes like the other games, but I think you can just google like a list of recipes from the games and get some fun ideas to try.
@@isekaikitchen Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild and Legend of Zelda: Tears of the kingdom have some appealing looking dishes. just don't follow the in-game recipes too carefully... I also really liked the look of the food in Pokemon Sword and Shield but the entire menu is curry so maybe not the most exciting content.
I feel like for pokemon maybe making something from the spin off “pokemon cafe remix” would be interesting? They have a variety of food and everything looks really cute and delicious hahaha 🤤 I’ve been thinking anime/game cafe food overall would also be neat for those of us who can’t exactly fly to Japan to go to those cafes 🥲
Really like your style, the ideas for the food are really nice but simple enough that basicaly everyone could try to recreate them. And I really like your......randomness? Like when shaping the dough you go "....to form.....an asshole" made me laugh. Keep up the nice work
Thank you!! I’m really happy to hear that because it is my aim to make realistic recipes that people make themselves at home ^^ hahahaha glad you enjoyed the humor :9
amazing bonus recipe birria top 5 type of taco of all time fr !!! love the editing too , curious if you’ve ever seen Yuru camp / laid back camp it’s basically just camping and cooking!
I agree!! I love birria taco, would totally go for some right now 🤤 I’ve been watching yuru camp recently actually, trying to catch up to season 3!! It’s so chill and I love seeing the different things they cook :D maybe I’ll do some of their dishes at some point :)
Love this! Definitely going to make the soup! However as a latino, tortilla is pronounced tor-tee-yah. In spanish the double L is pronounced like a Y. Anyways, now to dive further into your videos ❤️
Yay!! Let me know how it goes :) thanks for the explanation and pardon my pronunciation, I’ll keep that in mind! I might make mistakes in the future too since pronunciation is not my strong suit ^^” I struggle even in regular English like I can’t say th sounds in “three” vs “tree” but I’ll do my best to be better :)
@@isekaikitchen oh definitely, we all struggle with pronunciations from time to time. Related tangent: my mom's name is spelled with a Z instead of an S because my Abuleta (grandma) messed up the spelling because Spanish pronounces Z like an S. So even though my mom was named after an actress the name is different.
Hahahaha that’s funny, so does she pronounce it with Z or an S? Do people have a hard time pronouncing correctly? I totally relate to your grandma. My first language wasn’t English (although I speak predominantly english now) and I wonder if that influenced how I approach pronouncing most things too 🤔
@@isekaikitchen so it's Liza pronounced Lee-sa. Mom always has to correct people because they pronounce it Leye-za like the actress Liza Minneli. Grandma's first language was Spanish but Mom's and mine is English. Learning other languages can be difficult especially if they have different roots. Sometimes people have a lot of issues with sounds not in their native language like English speaking people rolling their R's in Spanish on a double R. It's not a sound normally made in English.
Hahaha that’s definitely easily confused. It’s a cool name though! For sure, where I grew up English is the common language but we also have a very different accent and euniciation for most things so even now I struggle with th sounds because usually it’s just pronounced lazily with a t sound like tree vs three is pronounced the same, you just assume it’s one or the other base on context hahahah. I can’t roll my Rs all so I would 100% struggle with Spanish 😅
Thank you for your kind encouragement!! :) I’ll work hard!! Things are a bit slow now because honestly I’m avoiding filming the intro I planned for the next video since it requires me being on camera and talking which makes me feel so cringe and I second guess a lot myself on my creative decisions but hopefully I’ll gain more exp and get over it 😅😅
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback! I’m still cringing when I hear my own voice during editing so maybe subconsciously I was trying to drown it out hahahahaha
I’m glad!! I’m only paying attention to eating and wet mixing nosies right now as potential triggers but let me know if there’s other sounds you think I should be flagging :)
For a steak, originally I was gonna include making a wine reduction sauce but I didn’t want to film it after dealing with the fire hahaha. I did put instructions down on the written version of recipe if you’re interested. If you made it a roast (canon) instead of a steak then you would braise it in wine and other ingredients, which correlates with him putting the meat into the wine.
@@isekaikitchen oh so he was putting it in wine? I never quite caught that in the episode itself. Thanks! That actually answers a question I had from the episode itself
