That does make me realize tho, Dante literally shouts out what he’s about to focus on every time. If you know hoe to deal with it, he is literally telegraphing his moves giving you the best chance to deal with it... No wonder the cutscene Dante was so much better then me when playing, CUS IN THE CUTSCENES HE NEVER SHOUTS WHAT HES ABOUT TO DO! That being said it does make it easier to tell what he’s about to try when he’s a boss

One of the scariest moments I've ever experienced in the series was when I was charging up JCE and Dante switched to RG during it and started walking towards me. I screamed the whole time, but Dante ended up taking it and dying 😂

Actually if you time it right you can easily avoid the blast from his damage redirection when he does it. All you have to do is pay attention to his body movement animation, especially his hands just when he's about to release it you can easily trick dodge to the side and build up both concentration and DT at the same time and he's also vulnerable at that second so you can capitalize and counterattack. It's a small window that's pretty risky you will take damage if you don't time it well, but dodging his royal guard is pretty satisfying. Counter his Counter 😳😳😳

@@Taniks_The_Final_Shape i think that's what they've always been fighting about in some way or another but in dmc5 it's kinda like they accept their differences i think they do have a very long way to go but we might see some actual brotherly love (even if it's just Vergil being rude and Dante being sarcastic) in the next game should it ever come out

@@6vouces837 nah, DMC 6 will be 100% all Nero unfortunately. I would however, absolutely love A DMC which focuses on Virgil's time surrounding Fortuna, and Dante, with flashbacks playing as Sparda.

@@TRU_Lunchy They cannot expect Nero to carry the entire game. I forsee Dante and Vergil at least bring playable if not in the story at all. Like Special Edition adds both of them in or something. I love Nero but I can't see him carrying an entire game without one or both of the twins.

He literally runs into you with giant dual wield motorcycle chainsaws. In for his royal guard, he's not taking it super seriously but whenever Vergil blocks, he just doing it without zero flair. Why do you think one of Vergil's quotes is about critiquing Dante for just rushing head first into a fight. Come on now. TLDR; Dante's fighting style is rushing in and overwhelming you with his vast arsenal. Vergil's fighting style is slow and concise, waiting for you to do something before countering. Vergil may be faster, but he certainly takes a much slower and calmer approach in fighting, usually keeping his position until it becomes advantageous to move for a strike. An entire characters personality and fighting style >>>>>> one move

Well the sparda brothers are overpowered, and Dante is a kinda Boss to all other enemies except vergil, no one is even close to his power level, so it makes sense

Technically, Dante is the true boss after all. Just think about it, Virgil has to go through all the hassle and bs just to get into the equal lane with Dante. He kills Millions of people to obtain the power and that is the Dante version that already put a blocker upon himself years back when he first enters hell (DMC 2). He is the strongest one with the most versatile kit, whether it's stylish you want - big dick dmg or freaking unbreakable defense or impossible to catch dodge. He can do it. Bottom line, Dante is the boss of all bosses.

When Dante just stab himself and become the strongest And even in game Dante sin dt are way stronger than Vergil sin dt by Miles Vergil can't even scratch Sin dt Dante And that line from manga actually said when he's young Dante Don't really want to be stronger at that point until in the middle of DmC 3 when he lose to Vergil Since then he surpassed Vergil in every way that why Vergil are so desperate to gain power just to be Dante equal. And believe it or not Dante first dt actually sin dt in manga(in form of very tall demon with very long black wings and four horn similar to DmC 2 sin dt) when alice try to kill him and because he about to die for real but he just a mindless monster at that state so that mean his demon side are way stronger than Vergil demon side from the start but Dante refuse to accept it because of his hate for demon until end of DmC 3 and completely in DmC 5

Yeah with the way concentration and his dodge works, there's no "great" way to completely get away from the range of certain attacks from Dante Playing Dante when you're not sure about the timing of some attacks you can just panic mash trickster away but Vergil doesn't really like you doing that when you're playing him

Sounds like a good sibling relationship to me. Obviously they both care about each other very much, they just love fighting each other WAY too much. In the “Visions of V” manga, it shows Dante as a kid always begging Vergil to fight, while Vergil just wanted to read his books. I’m pretty sure they both enjoyed their fight here since it was their reunion with each other after so many years apart. You can tell Dante really missed his big brother, lmao.

He's still hard on SOS? I wanted super vergil as soon as possible so I went for DMD my first run.......was a mistake, I died so much. But I was hoping he'd be easier in SOS now that I finished the hardest difficulty.

Not impossible. They just have to put a certain AI that will study the player as Dante especially if the Player got more SSS ranks in the last mission, then process the information and ready it once Vergil character is unlock as playable. And bam! The highest difficulty is unlock after *Hell and Hell* namely *Legendary Hell Player* . Player vs his own past playable styles.

It's actually quite consistent. He's not free to attack after Multiple Twins, and until they updated the Mission 19 fight, you weren't able to combo him after any of the Cavaliere moves. Other than that, he's more predictable than you might think because he's patterns are always super consistent.

Oh and he also immediately gains back armour once he lands after doing High Time→two slashes of Aerial Wave so you can't expect to wait for him to land and stand still and then combo him. You'll need to combo him before he lands or just simply wait for him to do the next combo.

@@MyNipplesArePointy yeah, I know this. I said that he's hard to read , not impossible.Much like with Vergil, after you memorize his pattern you WILL get better and the fight does get easier. But with such a massive arsenal of moves, he's easily the hardest boss on the game

that can actually be possible with modding and replacing the bosses AI. there is a guy who modded where with the dlc of vergil, the doppleganger can use your currently equipted weapon. someone would just need to make a new AI for the boss, that works with the playable vergil dlc's attacks.
