Man i loved this game. At first i found the 2nd game cringe, but i think it is fine now and i really didn't like the third that much. Maybe now i would think diffrent about the sequels but this one will stay on top for me!
Killing Maurice is considered the good ending, because he has been traumatised, he has noone left, he is basically dead already, by sparing him you just continue his torture basically.
It's super super super easy, just have any FRIEND with the same game go to ONLINE and put TAILING A FRIEND which he then picks up out of his friends list and done, just don't PROFILE him or it won't pop
I could’ve sworn a hidden trophy was to kill a character from the Assassin’s Creed games as a secret mission. It’s been so long since I 100% this I could be wrong. Either way, it was cool to see the games overlap. Of course, this game was much easier to 100% closer to launch which is when I did it. Even played a fair amount of online. Met one of my best gaming friends on freeroam. So many great memories from this game
Top 2% bracket Watch_Dogs online player here to put in my 2 cents of experience. 1. The last trophy I earned in this game was related to missing music (go figure). 2. In case higher notoriety score changes your invasion rate, I'll leave this here.. Online races, if you can consistently win, are the fastest casual way of earning notoriety. 3. I do know for a fact that there are 2 factors that increase your odds of getting invasions: online matches entered and win rate. The online tailing and hacking modes are ideal for this. Online tailing is faster but easier to lose if you're bad because your target's skill level is left entirely up to chance. Online hacking is against a semi-random target with a skill rating with their username. (People generally didn't target me in online hacking because the game surely listed my defence as "very strong"). You can still back out of any invasion event without penalty so long as your presence is unknown. You may wish to do this, particularly when your target is in Pawnee. 4. There are various ways of determining that you've been invaded before being notified: If you pause and the outlines of pedestrian and vehicle traffic continue to move as if you aren't paused. If you try and enter an offline activity and it fails, such as a campaign mission, side mission, privacy invasion, npc minigame, digital trip or AR minigame and are given a message saying something like, "currently unavailible." If you are attempting to enter a safe house that requires a prompt to open a door and receive a "currently unavailable" type message. 5. You are more likely to be the victim of online tailing the more often you win online tailing as a defender. This is why people who are good at pvp despite not liking it kept being forced into it during their campaign playthrough at launch. 6. META FOR ONLINE tailing/hacking. Perpetrators aren't really allowed to fight in either mode, so you have to resort to hiding. NEVER DRIVE A MOTOCYCLE DURING EITHER OF THESE EVENTS. NPC's do not drive them naturally. Also minimize the amount of hacking you do. Your opponent can see the white line visualizing the hack being sent from your phone. For tailing, the game is heavily skewed towards a target in a car because they can force you to come out of hiding. Having to disable a vehicle or giving chase by car will likely blow your position. For hacking, vertically is king. If you're near a parking lot or the L train tracks/ boarding platform, the perpetrator has the advantage. Generally the invader wants the maximum amount of juking options vertically. Alternatively, force the victim in a position where they have to leave the circle to check options. Try and make the circle shrink in a bewildering fashion. Victims in both modes, your choice of weapons should go as follows: Max consumable jam-comms Chrome burst pistol Tommy gun/Chicago Typewriter Grenade Launcher IED throwables for awkward camping spots and catching jukes Antimatter sniper to try and shutdown the odd bm vehicle trap methods
Great video Watson, completely agree with this one having the best story. I felt 2 was a let down after playing this game first, it had good gameplay, but the story was far less enjoyable in comparison. Haven't played Legion so can't comment on that one haha
Glad you enjoyed man! Honestly, Legion isn’t terrible. If you want to explore the city of London then it’s by far the only game out there that can truly deliver that experience. Story was alright, just the way that it was told that lets it down.
I've been trying to get 100% achievements/trophies (I'm an Xbox player) on this game for a long time now and it's just hard mainly cause of the amount of grind post-story and all the online stuff that's limited for me cause I don't pay for the subscriptions lol Congrats of the plat tho!
I do agree a lot of post content does feel a bit grindy because of the repetitive nature of it. I think I spent about an hour or so just cleaning up the contracts and such in each district!
an hour? nice, it took me at least 2 hours on a few districts cause of my own stupidity with forgetting that fall damage exists lol. One thing that I'm glad I got during the story was 95%-ish of the Hotspot locations. @@WatsonKHD
I just got informed that my watchdog thumbnail is an edited version of yours but it’s my most popular video can I do a shoutout for you because I really need this video to stay popular due to every other 1 failing only reaching 10 or 40 views even when spending 10-12 hours on each 1 including researching the games and editing + playing through the games which adds 40-100 hours of time spent
Hi mate, I appreciate you asking but I’m gonna be honest I’d rather you not use my thumbnail! Your best bet is honestly to create your own, adding your own style/flare to it. Not only that, but it stands out more having your own and doesn’t confuse viewers
For the disc space full trophy i was missing 2 songs from pedestrians and i was playing it for 2 days not finding it. When i earased all songs in just five minutes i found the song and in another few minutes i got the last one. Dont know if it works that way but it worked for me.
I've loved all the Watchdog games and Legion was great for the new mixing up the usual gameplay of the first two games by making anyone a Deadsec agent. I know Ubisoft gets a bit of shit for their games but I think they are one of the better companies especially for open world games.
This is my last Multiplayer trophy I try every step on RU-vid that tell me what you post to do and not they working I really need some help for this last one
You know what’s funny, I played this game back on the ps3 when I was young( maybe 13-14) and watching this video I do not remember any of it 😅 except for the auction part…
I just got all the online trophies done one sitting ,3 hours tonight . I think I got lucky with races 15 mins wait then 10 straight races same lobby ideal 👍
I really enjoyed that game but unfortunately never finished it myself because for some reason a mission where you have to shoot while being in a car my game wouldn’t ever let me shoot
also the lucky quinn mission is the best mission in the game along with the owl motel shootout because when it feels so badass especially if you pair it with the m1014 shotgun
man.. how is this better than legion??? i have legion and after and even while beating it its boring (okay actually the stories okay but i couldnt follow it)
The first game is one of my favourites games of all time, 2 was meh That's when games started to become politically correct, Legion played about 2 hours a year ago deleted sold it glad only paid $10
I remember getting all achievements on the 360 around a year after it launched. I wish I could see my playtime, because I did basically everything the game had to offer (overworld collectibles, online, all the coin run and nvzn, all digital trips and I remember playing with the now-forgotten mobile app. It worked kinda like the last mission with Damien hacking you, except the mobile phone was with the cops and Aiden [the console] had to outrun them.) This video has resurfaced some old memories of this game, back when I basically idolized it lol. I was around 12 or so at the time, and I’ve been thinking about picking the game up on Steam when its on sale and 100% it. I enjoyed this video and your commentary. edit: as of 12-27 its on sale for 5 bucks on Steam, definitely gonna pick it up and run through it again.
