Slower Song and Practice mode I think is the ultimate tool on getting good at these types of maps without modifiers. Oh, also the number of minutes and hours spent in these maps as well.
So chief, for me it takes time for my brain to process a song or part of a song, but I’ve noticed I don’t improve at a song in the same day, after I sleep on it, I find myself doing much better the next day.
Tbh it just takes skill overtime, I probably was above the average skill level when I started and after a year I would say I’m an expert+ level, so just keep playing expert or so and you’ll get better
sorry im kinda late but im glad youre back on bs and im glad to took my advice into consideration with the wrists. too be honest, youre doing really well considering youre already on ex and ex+ on some maps. i think you should continue this series to show your progression and you could possibly move onto modded maps/custom songs, and maybe even try some ranked? they're basically custom songs that earn you performance points (literally pp), the better you do, the more pp you earn and you can get more pp from harder maps (determined by a star rating). there's some pretty easy maps on there that i think would be good for vids to get you started, ofc that is if you do want to carry on playing this game. really loving the beat saber vids tho so please carry on haha
Idk if it will help but the way I play is I have my controller settings tweaked for me to play having my arm turned sideways and using only my wrists. It's much faster to hit blocks that way and it's less draining so you have more stamina during the song. Hope you get better
A tip for recording content on quest is using the video smooth feature. On your settings, go to experimental features, find camera smoothing and put it on medium and you’re good. I don’t remember if this is how you but if it isn’t, just look it up. It makes such a big difference.
Hey, I'm your second comment which means nothing:) I can do every song on expert plus except power of the saber blade. I got half way into power of the saber blade
I can get 1:53 seconds into Power of the Saber Blade on Ex+, and have beaten EX with a 87.76. ^^ It just takes a little bit of time before your hands can adjust to fast notes coming at you. Once you feel like your hands start moving on their own, that's when you should stop using your brain and just let your hands move freely! ^^
Just a question, do you experience a lot of buffering and lagging on quest link. I've got the official cable and still do. A PC capable of VR. So i just wanna know if thats normal or somethings wrong.
On Air Link yea, If i'm recording or have videos playing that will make it lag on link. Close all the windows you dont need and try playing with the resolution/refresh rate in the Oculus app. Also i'm using the kiwi link cable if that helps, make sure it's connected to 3.0
You don’t have to listen to me but I would change your grip on the controller I can do power of the saber blade expert ss rank by switching my grip to my three main fingers around the main controller part like a claw grip
@@_FamousTV I don't recommend that for the saber is close to your wrist thus going around it rather then a cut. I like tweaking with the controller setting if you're going to do it. I also recommend using your elbow more and hold them close to your chest for comfort. I beat multiple ranked maps like "Count down 321" so at least you know I have some experience. I love that you're getting warm ups. There are some more grips but I like the default one for the oculus controller was made for it and it is comfortable. This information might not be the best for you but I hoped I helped!
